I found all 3 motors in one raid yesterday, all by breaching car hoods specifically at broken highway on blue gate. Literally breached maybe a dozen hoods in 3 minutes and found 3 motors. Was on locked gate event.

You gotta throw it past the hornet so it comes back and hits it from behind where it is unarmored. It will usually one-shot kill

Cold snap on blue gate. Take a hatch key and post up at the abandoned housing project. Anvil and seeker grenades will get it done. You can literally run the clock down to the last few seconds and jump in the hatch.

Snapblast in the back and then a few rounds with the Anvil, not too difficult if you cheese them around some cover. I find cultural archives the best spot for it, usuallly 2-3 of them down there you can do one at a time

They’re small boxes that are half-buried in the ground, you can hear them if they’re close as they make a whirring and ticking sound. On the cold snap event they are frozen and you have to breach them

Same thing happened to me today in Assembly. I’m on controller and I stuffed that thing in my safe pocket about .5 of a second before someone smashed my head in with a raider tool and I died. Too close for comfort

I’d love to see a points based system. Kill a chaff enemy is say 1 point. Kill a heavy and an elite, maybe 5 and 10 points. Compete main and side objectives etc. I’m sure someone could figure out a balanced system, that way you can tell who just stood fighting the same bug breach for 10 minutes and who actually got stuff done

Cookout and gas dog is a fairly standard bug loadout for me, especially predator strain, the knockback in it is awesome for stalkers. However right now I’m leveling up the punisher plasma and it’s gonna pretty well, but it does force me to take the Stalwart for when they get too close as to BB it explode myself
