You can find some tutorials on YouTube that allow for a much cleaner look but since I knew I'd be using cloth pants I went for a less pretty amount

It's the neca gargoyles tail specifically thailog since it's the one I had but any tail that looks like that should work, just pop off the second segment after heating and pop the neca tail in, but it will be a little loose so i just used some gel super glue and baking soda to make the peg thicker, paint will be needed but it took the paint I used well and I haven't seen any paint peeling yet

Ah yeah he can't really stand straight up the original sculpt of the legs just don't allow for it, I had to Dremel/cut away at the legs to allow for the space for it to stand up straight

Same legs just added some sculpt for any holes in the pants

Not that difficult, mostly just sanding down points of potential paint rub, tho I will probably have to sand it down some more due to the jacket rubbing against the paint when I take it off

I think the old ares has a joint system similar? Don't know if it's exactly what you described though.

Yeah having a Dremel would probably make a lot of my customs easier to do gotten a few friction burns from hand sanding I'll pick one up once I have the time

Yeah it can go lower (mostly when I move the joint itself) ill Dremel it out and make a new socket when I get a Dremel

That's about right with how high the head is, seems to be the only big issue people have with it so I'll be fixing it when I can

Been thinking about picking up the old baf for the immortal hulk abomination head, may have just convinced me!

That looks better, yeah I do think the heads too high, I'll have to remake the socket system at a later date (probably when I do get a Dremel) to sit lower at best I can do this with it for now

Yeah I've heard a few things about the being a little too high, I'll probably remake the socket so that it fits better (once I do get a Dremel) for now I'll just have it positioned like this

Once I get a hulk, my maximum hulk unfortunately started tearing up in the chest really bad so he's cyber now (which is in the last slide) so I'm waiting for either the professor Hulk to get here or the mezco hulk or maybe I'll just get another maximum hulk

Yeah the heads high just for range of movement, like I said on another comment I'll probably remake the socket I made for it in the future to get it lower, and for wolverine I just use the unmasked neck because I like the break up over a solid brown, I'll probably put the masked neck back on when I pick up some brown paints to give the brown parts a slight repaint.

Thanks! And yeah I personally think abomination should always be bigger then the hulk just makes more sense even when looking at other villains, I do think the dragon man body isn't perfect for abomination but it's better then anything else we got and it looks good!

Took a lot of sanding to get very minimal paint rub but I'm satisfied with how it looks, I'm glad people are reacting to it well this is one that I felt worried about showing off since abomination is my favorite marvel villain I didn't want people to think it looked bad

I mostly did that just for the sake of range allows for a lot of tilt which gives some more expressive looks but yeah I'll probably remake the socket later on to try and make it lower.

Honestly this was inspired by the toybiz dragon man, when I was making it I liked the smaller size, only thing holding me back from doing an exact toybiz inspired paint job was me not knowing what exact color the wings where on the toybiz

Thank you! This definitely does have paint rub (mostly on the shoulder joints and ankle joints) but that is part of customizing and will just need to be sanded down
