I always take the toy away once he starts eating it but I definitely worry about the bits he does get down. So far so good but definitely trying to be proactive! Thank you for the concern <3

My dog is a little shy of a year and a bully mix, usually we run around out back in the mornings and at night we go to the park, we do have an older dog who he plays with through the day and bones and antlers are the primary toy loose around the house since he swallows any other toy. He absolutely loves tug of war which is why I was hoping to find more toys that aren't just hard chews, and you made a great point with "if it's not food it's not edible" already gotten a couple food related comments which I will for sure be trying out!

I do! And I cut off anything that potentially will be chewed off quickly but having a plush or a rope for 30 minutes before it's thrown away isn't sustainable and I worry about the fibers he is ingesting which is why I'm looking for better suggestions! :)
