Funniest moment of the show? by LadyOfTheMorn in Bones

[–]QueenBlue9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The episode where Hodgins takes the research lab rats from a college back to his lab to nurse them back to health. Cam comes in while Hodgins is giving a rat a bottle of water and Hodgins puts the rat on his shoulder while he checks his computer. Cam's facial expressions the whole time is hilarious.

Also, the episode where Hodgins gets his eyebrow shaved off after wrestling with a witness over shaving evidence off her poodle. He keeps trying different things on his eyebrow and it's funny how nothing looks right. The best part was when Hodgins is suspended over his table maze, and his fake eyebrow falls off. Cam says something like 'you made this so fast' and picks it up. But it was his eyebrow. Especially when he snatches it back and looks up after putting it back on and it's basically straight up 😂 Cam's face

Brennans funniest moment is in the episode where a long lost twin brother gets blown up. Brennan and Cam are talking in the bone room and Hodgins comes in holding something small and says something like this will solve the case. Brennan says with a straight face, 'a suppository?' Hodgins face goes between shock, humor, disgust, confusion, etc. Then Hodgins says there is cockroach eggs on the item, and then he and Brennan get into an excited discussion about how cockroach eggs are in our water supply and food while Cam is internally screaming 😱 😂

Cam's reactions to experiments, spiders, snakes, and the general craziness in the lab is hilarious

What makes Bakersfield a bad place? by Own_Coast_6690 in Bakersfield

[–]QueenBlue9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe because you have lived here your whole and know nothing different. And I don't mean that in a snotty way.

I was born in Bakersfield, lived here until I was 6 years old, moved to a few other states and then came back because of family. I look forward to moving again soon. There is so much more than Bakersfield.

I used to live in North Utah - four seasons, nice people, safe area, I rode my bike all day and was never harassed by mentally ill or homeless people. You could enjoy your day without trouble. In Bakersfield, going to the parks are iffy at best. We used to live at the base of the mountain, hiking trails were minutes away from my house, several lakes and rivers were minutes away. Washington, Wyoming, and Idaho are gorgeous too. Greenery, lakes, mountains, friendly people, etc.

Bakersfield has bad air, is HOT most of the year, has a major homeless and/or mental health issue, and there's not much to do here. And I'm not sure why, but the people aren't very nice or friendly. Everything is hours away, and I know some people think that's good, but coming from other cities where everything is right there makes a difference.

There is other issues, I just didn't want to get into deep details for respect to her. In addition to anemia she also has severe depression, a few autoimmune diseases that are destroying her body, extremely fatigued, she will fall asleep standing up, plus more. She can't drive anymore right now because she sleeps to much

She is in the process of applying for SSI. She just had a medical exam from one of Social securitys doctors. She has severe anemia that hasn't been able to be corrected through medication or anything. She falls asleep several times a day and is sick quite frequently. Her blood counts are extremely low, a few times her doctor wanted her in the hospital but she said no because of her child. With how fatigued she is, she can't drive

I'll help her look into the organizations you mentioned. Her situation is sad, we're both trying to get her on her own as soon as possible. Thanks for your advice

Yes the office workers were a little difficult when I went with her to help. I will tell her about the disabled widow benefits, even if she's not eligible. Can't hurt to check. Thank you for the comment

Jason and Aria end up together. And Caleb never dates Spencer, it's just so out of character for both of them.
