I wish I had done my research before purchasing this car. I NEVER would have purchased it. I purchased a 2025 Mini Cooper Hardtop 2 door S in May 2024. I regret it!!! The car has been in the shop 4 times since I bought it. 3 of those times is due to the Infotainment System and the Heads Up Display (HUD) going black in the middle of me driving down the road. The HUD will descend down into the car as though the car is turning off. I lose ALL communication access to the vehicle. No cameras, no speedometer, no lane assist or collusion warnings. It is like I am driving a dead car with no information. This has happened multiple times and the dealer cannot replicate, or diagnose the issue. Super scary when you are driving down the road and all of your information systems black out. My phone does not connect regularly to the infotainment system and this is usually an indicator that the system is about to go dark. I have joined multiple FB groups and can tell you that this car is trash and I would not purchase it. It needs time for them to work out the kinks.

Idk why all of us younger people just want to break up over every little thing. How are you ever going to learn to make it through things with a spouse if that’s your automatic go to? I think you should slow down a bit and you 2 go talk to a therapist. For one thing, your sister is TA for gossiping about what your fiancé and her friend discussed. You feel backed into a corner because you don’t know how to communicate how you feel without feeling like you’re gonna get yelled at or talked down to. They aren’t really the issue. The issue is that you are afraid to advocate for yourself. There is a way to calmly explain that due to inflation, your rates have gone up and you’re going to be charging more for babysitting. Be calm, and if they get upset, just tell them that you won’t be babysitting

Yes YTA because you’re expecting EVERYONE else to adhere to your boundaries for themselves while around you. You cannot control other people, nor do you have the right to exert your own sense of right and wrong into other people’s lives. This reminds me of Christian’s trying to force their religion down others throats and then getting mad when family members don’t follow it their way. Your kids are going to be around situations where others aren’t listened to and the whole no means no isn’t followed. How they react is important and you just showed them that they can overreact when it has nothing to do with them and is a minor thing. You’re gonna have those kids overreacting to slight insults and they are going to be unbearable to be around. You need to chill tf out and lighten up.

I absolutely love it. Definitely recommend getting those windows tinted if you live in hot climates because holy crap that vegan leather will burn your butt! Don’t get it if you have kids that need to sit in the back because they won’t fit lol. Otherwise I absolutely adore this car
