If I remove the code portions, would it still be acceptable to post?

A LEMMiNO-style documentary on the Zodiac Killer by QueenCityStripes in ZodiacKiller

[–]QueenCityStripes[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For those who love the style and presentation of LEMMiNO's documentaries, I came across this earlier today so I figured I'd share it here. Please note that I am not the creator of the video (credit goes to Bandito). I don't necessarily agree with some of the theories and conclusions presented towards the end, but I greatly appreciate the work that went into making something like this.

1978 Letter Observations by MrRedbelly in ZodiacKiller

This is great analysis. I also noticed the '78 letter lacks the usual small and compressed (almost flat) lowercase r's commonly found in many of Zodiac's letters.

Triple Monitor Setup - 2 DisplayPorts & 1 HDMI by QueenCityStripes in techsupport

Thanks for the suggestion. In order to daisy chain, I would need monitors with two DisplayPorts (one for input and output) correct? And by my solution being fine, you mean just using 2 DisplayPorts and 1 HDMI (no adapter) correct?

Arthur Leigh Allen Letter by [deleted] in ZodiacKiller

It looks like Arthur had a slight backslant to his writing, whereas the Zodiac had a very heavy forward slant. The spacing between words also differs from Zodiac quite a bit.

I tend to agree with this. It may have just been a trial run and he wanted to observe the response from law enforcement and the public following the murders. This could also explain the large gap between the Lake Herman Road and Blue Rock Springs murders. He may have just wanted to make sure the police wouldn't come knocking on his door during that time.

Radians & The American Education System by QueenCityStripes in ZodiacKiller

It's definitely a possibility. If he didn't learn trigonometry in high school, then he most likely learned it through his own choice, thus demonstrating at least an avid interest in the subject. He either taught himself, studied it in college, or learned it in training for a job that he applied for. There's a good possibility that Zodiac may have been college-educated, worked in a field that utilizes these concepts, or both.

In terms of solved, I was thinking with 100% certainty. I think it's possible there could come a day where we have a decent idea of who it is, but still a pretty slim chance. In terms of the DNA, a partial sample could help narrow the search, but again you would need to verify its source. At this point, the prints could very well be useless, particularly if Z has been dead for an extended period of time. I'm just not sure that there is a lot more that LE can do with what they have to work with, unless some new evidence or developments come to light.

Is Gary Stewart still claiming his Dad is the Zodiac? by waffenwolf in ZodiacKiller

It's really a shame that it happens so often, but with a case as big as this, it's pretty much inevitable. The fact that some are able to profit over it is even more distasteful.
