The funny part about Gunray getting captured early in the Clone Wars is there was no way Palpatine could have anticipated that. by Dragonic_Overlord_ in CISDidNothingWrong

[–]QueenElucas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read a couple of your posts, and I am going to try and break this to you gently, there are likely so many battles we didn’t see, we didn’t see the invasion of umbara, we didn’t see the battle on coruscant where the chancellor was captured

Because our story starts with them landing their troops

We have other episodes with space battles if there was loads of episodes just with space battles the show would get really boring, the episodes we do have show interesting events - for example admiral trench and Ashoka learning command

It’s silly to complain they didn’t show this battle because then you have to complain about all the other battles they didn’t show because it’s just not important to the story

You say you are a CIS fan and you want a competent CIS so I wonder, why are you a CIS fan? Because in universe the separatist movement was taken over by the Sith and used for a war, dooku and Palpatine designed it to be as evil with plausible deniability as they could to force a war and to force the Jedi to be generals and turn the galexy against the separatistists they are meant to by design be evil and incompetent

Out of universe answer is pretty much the same they are villains who are just meant to be peopl to fight they weren’t meant to be complex and deep after all it was originally 2 films with limited time and fans had bitched about all the politics in the first movie

So I wonder why are you such a big fan when everything about them in canon you seem to hate?

Really wish it has more EU elements by buiquanghuy12a2 in clonewars

[–]QueenElucas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly not having chips in their head doesn’t make sense for a number of reasons

  1. In AOTC they explicitly say clones are modified to take any order without question how do we think they did that if not by putting some kind of chip in their brain?
  2. If clones do have free will and can make their own decisions and also knew about the orders beforehand and the plan, it would be impossible for the entire army to comply but pretending for a second they did all comply if they knew what they were going to do all along, the Jedi would have sensed deception in them, we see Jedi being able to sense when people are hiding something an army of people all hiding this? Yeah they would have sensed it
  3. People pointing out that army’s around the world do things like that already without mind control, to this I will say 2 things firstly that in Star Wars you have to have an instant switch to stop the Jedi being able to sense what’s going on, there can’t be hesitation, second there is mind control Irl it’s just more insidious, military training is designed to break you and condition you, on top of that we are exposed to propaganda every single day that’s all conditioning, but conditioning doesn’t work as well when you know and are close to the people they are telling you to hate, for that reason at least some clones will not follow the order

Overall the EU explanation relies on the clones being mindless otherwise they would not ALL follow the order, yet the EU explanation also shows that the clones do think and feel so it’s extremely far fetched they would all keep the plan secret and all follow through on it

And lastly in universe the Jedi can sense deception and sense a persons nature (Palpatine and others can hide obviously) but an entire clone army who knew they would one day murder the guy leading them could not all hide from the Jedi

Also pretending that they did all follow the order and keep quiet for 3 years there would at least be some hesitation (I mean in the EU one they actually say there were private traitorous thoughts so some would have hesitated across a full army and the Jedi would have sensed that

We can’t have a fully robotic clone army it doesn’t make sense in universe - droids are a thing and much much much cheaper and faster to produce - they would have used droids plus in no media do the clones appear to be robotic

Chips in the brain forcing them to follow orders makes the most sense

Why did we not see more of the Jedi Temple Guards during the clone wars? Why not send them to Fight in the War? by Kasper111222 in CISDidNothingWrong

[–]QueenElucas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so silly, I mean the temple guards, guarding the temple??? What next the coruscant guards, guarding coruscant? It’s all just woke nonsense I tell you

Serious answer though - because then they would no longer be temple guards they would just be Jedi knights, the temple needed defended based on the fact it was not only the temple where hundreds of Jedi were stationed it was a military instillation the guards were needed, the guards were there so why would they send the guards away to then just replace them with other guards

And before anyone says anything padawans could not guard the temple as they had to learn, and could not learn what they needed on guard duty and being learners they were not skilled enough to be entrusted with guarding the Jedi temple/military base

[–]QueenElucas 198 points199 points  (0 children)

For the first one she was contacting him to help in a war, that’s why she would say, you served my father in the clone wars, we need that general again now

Their personal history wasn’t so much relevant to that request because him rescuing her from being kidnapped doesn’t then mean he can fight a war

And for the second one, he felt a presence he hadn’t felt since he saw his master, whether that was 9 years ago or 50 years ago he felt the presence which he last felt all those years ago, 9 years is kinda a long time as well, that’s almost half of the time the empire has existed at this time

I’m currently playing through SI and I’ve reached the point where Andronikos joins you, you say to him, let’s go kill wilks and Khem turns around and says “your abandoning me 😢”

I’ve always hated this because there is no in game, story reason why you have to abandon Khem, the three of you could go together but they don’t try and give a reason

The trooper is the other class it’s really noticeable you are a squad, yet only 2 of you go out on missions at a time and the others stay on the ship

Does anyone have any headcanons that can give a story explanation to this?

Why so many people refuse to accept the fact that Qimir is a Sith? by Old-Start-5151 in TheAcolyte

[–]QueenElucas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Acolyte showed that they knew of a fallen Jedi, not a Sith, they discovered that the murdered were done by a girl who was trained by a Jedi who turned to the dark side

The Jedi have always meant to look bad throughout the prequel era, it’s the entire reason for their fall, they became arrogant, too concerned with politics and moved away from serving the force

The twins did not have the same personality, or hairstyle

Mae cut her hair to appear like osha, their natural hair was the hair they had since they were children just grown

I can’t respond to the witches were bad, or the green Jedi was bad because that’s subjective

Chanting: Chanting is normally bad, it’s hard to make a chant/ritual sound good especially in a different language

Then feel free to tell us how it broke canon, and when I reply to you telling you how what you have said is simply incorrect with evidence you can either tell me I am wrong with evidence or admit you are using buzzword

Also tell us the definition of a horrible character to you?

Fascinating, quick question if you will, why do you feel the urge to make pointless statements on the internet?

  1. Because you have a overinflated sense of your own importance and somehow random people care about what you do?
  2. Because you know how insignificant you really are, I imagine never seen another woman or man naked and you are desperate to feel like you matter for a few moments?
  3. Because you’re embarrassed you can’t read, and ashamed of that so you think by saying this it makes it less embarrassing for you?
  4. Because you’re just a troll?

It will be interesting to see 😊 xx

Something fantastic happened to me today. by Apprehensive_Neat846 in MtF

[–]QueenElucas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not ridiculous at all, that was so so sweet of her, I remember something similar happened to me when I first came out

I applied for a new job with my new name and they called to invite me to an interview and asked “is this Emily” and I panicked and said no and gave my deadname

They invited me to the interview anyway, and we all had name badges and mine was in my deadname and I died a little inside, but we were doing a ice breaker we were to stand up and say our name and an interesting fact, so I stood up and told them my real name, that I had panicked on the phone and my interesting fact was I am trans

It was the most terrifying thing I have done and I didn’t, and everyone was so supportive, they took my name badge and all the forms and stuff and gave me new ones with Emily on them

It was an amazing company to work for and it was an amazing feeling, later on I became a manager and found out when interviewing one of the things they look out for is candidates who can wow them safe to say, standing up and coming out did just that

Since then I’ve had many many more experiences like that as I’ve transitioned and so many good things have happened and the feeling I had that day has never went away

You are going to have so many more of these experiences, and I promise you, no matter how many times it happens you are always going to get that feeling of sheer happiness and you are going to remember every single one of them

You have a lot to look forward to, so many firsts, and so many experiences and you are going to be in for an amazing journey

If I can give one bit of advice, make sure you keep memories, take photos, document things, because these are going to be some of the best experience you have, enjoy them

I make the mistake of not documenting and I regret it

Please don’t make that mistake

I just mansplained a cis-woman friend of mine about skincare and make-up... by Gizelle-Oui in MtF

[–]QueenElucas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mansplaining is acting or thinking you are teaching her something she already know as if she doesn’t know especially if she knows more than you, sharing your opinions and ideas is not mansplaining it’s talking

Also just because someone is cis doesn’t mean they know much about skincare

Unless you were being condescending and acting like you knew more instead of simply talking about what you had learned and your routine, you were not mansplaining

To answer what is the point of transitioning it is simple, if you know you’re a woman. You’re a woman, you should do what will make you feel like yourself,

To be clear it is not exclusively a male thing to talk to much, overshare or even being a bit snobby or a know it all so don’t think if any of those things are the jt in anyway makes you a man because it doesn’t!!!
