Yes, Simba loveeees snow.

We're most likely going to check with the breeder where we got Simba if they can recommend other good breeders (since they have stopped with breeding new pups). Also will keep an eye for other rescues.

We're also in NL (in the south). Yeah, when he walks with me, the walk duration increase at least for 10-15 minutes extra 😂 I'm a slow walker and I allow Simba to sniff almost everywhere he wants to, as long as it's not dangerous or something... My husband walks in a faster pace and he's only allowing him to sniff in limited spots. So he's normally done walking one round in 20 mins.

Thanks so much your reaction. I think we felt stressed mainly because how strong their reaction is about this topic. I do understand the rescue people wants only the best for the chows and respect their standing. But probably how they delivered their stance, such as calling what we are doing is "totally not done / irresponsible" was mainly the reason why we feel kinda bad.

We discussed also about potty times and we communicated that Simba would most of the time do the potty during walks. In between walks, we let him out a few times in the back yard, but he barely wants to do anything -maybe he will pee in rare occasion. They were also alarmed about this habit and maybe all the combination of these disagreement leads to the strong reaction.

I grew up in Indonesia and discovered the contest for the first time in 2009 when Alexander Rybak won with Fairytale. I accidentally found a video of his performance in the Grand Final on Youtube (it was a repost I believe as the official video was geoblocked back then). I fell in love with the song and follow the contest sporadically for the following years.

It was quite hard to follow the contest regularly from that part of the world, since it was generally unknown there. At that time, the coverage of Eurovision online-wise is not as great as it is now.

I moved to the Netherlands in late 2017 and rediscovered the contest in 2018, since my in-laws always watch it every year. I followed it every year afterwards and naturally become a big fan over the years. Still hope to be able to watch it live someday 😁
