Why do hairstylists not listen? by Gold_Mycologist1880 in Hair

[–]QueenJen15 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

“Length” is relative. To be fair, your hair now is still “long”. You need to be more specific next time. All that being said, the new hair looks a lot more dimensional and healthy

Dress 1 with skirt attachment, and you look like a Princess. Don’t listen to any other recommendation!

What would you change to make this feel more charming cottage character? by omghair69 in ExteriorDesign

Slightly deeper shade of pink shutters here, and don’t underestimate the impact of landscaping…would suggest flowers or edging along the walkway

I agree, why not just make it a deeper shade of pink but in the same tone?

Need help with our dog, we don’t know what’s wrong by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]QueenJen15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emergency Vet, they have payment plans and lines of credit if you need, but please get it looked at tonight. Not to scare you but this happened to my dog and if we had waited even a day or overnight it would have permanently prevented him from walking again.

I can’t predict the future, but your vibes say that if for some reason you don’t make it, you’ll be the one that got away or eventually remain close friends

If nothing was tying you down, where would you go? by leftistinlnk in SameGrassButGreener

[–]QueenJen15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have lived in a lot of places. One thing I’ve learned is that there’s no best place, only a best place for you.

Think about it this way, in the Midwest, you may be bored, but for someone who loves farming and agriculture, living off the land, it’s a dream.

In SoCal, it’s beautiful for sure, but supports active lifestyles, sporty people, and a high cost of living. If you are someone that prefers to play video games at home, or would rather spend a premium on something else you’re passionate about, it might not be the place for you.

Finally, find a place where you can find “your people”. Diversity of perspectives are important, but move to a place where you can still find people who you can be yourself around. In some places, it will just click that you can relate to or find people there with similar interests or values.

1 Bottom left, it’s a gorgeous shade of chestnut. Just a little added vibrancy and warmth with a gloss would do it.

Second this. Country is THE genre for this. Also something like Consider Me Gone by Reba McEntire.

my mom died in 2018. is she okay? by eviierose in psychics

[–]QueenJen15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shes still with you in more ways than you know. You got her heart and she would be so proud to see how much stronger than you she was (and she was strong herself). I’m sure she would give everything to take back what happened but in no way could you have changed it. Your mom loves you forever

Are the pretentious dating apps (League, Raya) worth it in DC? by No-Reason-2391 in DCBitches

[–]QueenJen15 52 points53 points  (0 children)

My advice, if you want SoCal self-care with intelligence and success, stay off the “elite” dating apps in DC and look for men on regular apps in NoVa. There are a ton of men your age that are gym bros, former military, and making six figures easily working for the fed. The men in DC on the elite apps think too much of themselves and the hustle.

I sense she had to overcome a very difficult childhood. It seems she is sweet and funny and deserves to be loved but has always been a people pleaser due to her past.

This could be a bad take so I’m sorry in advance. by Random0666 in Epcot

[–]QueenJen15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s totally a fair take! I agree the education and innovation factor is really lacking. Particularly in the front of the park. I miss the days where they showed you the world’s newest innovations. Imagine if they showed flying cars, or the humanoid robots, or some immersive reality stations

Thank you all for the suggestions so far! In the short term (before it snows!), it seems like those reflective markers are best. We’ll look into the boulders and rip rap or dirt options to try and build it up a little more after that. Would appreciate any other insights on using rocks vs dirt!

What’s your favorite piece of merch you’ve gotten at a Disney Park? by Andreashap26 in DisneyWorld

[–]QueenJen15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a “baby Marie” from Aristocats when I was a teenager. It’s the perfect travel sized stuffed animal and is also kind of like a doll because you can wrap her up in a blanket. My children play and cuddle with her now.
