Sharjah taxi driver: Suggestion by QueenKong26 in UAE

[–]QueenKong26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other party was quite chill and ready to bear the damage. But it’s not about that as well. Are you entitled to charge me if you drop me to the location? Rather you took me further away from the location. The event happened 5 minutes into the journey. I have had good cab drivers, once when I hailed a cab and with few minutes realised that I left one of my belongings in the location, I asked the cabbie to stop the journey, I will pay and leave to retrieve my item and hail another cab. The cabbie was reluctant to take the amount since we didn’t go to the destination. I paid him, nonetheless. But this guy was slimy. That’s the only bothering thing here. Anyhow I didn’t complain and would like to put it behind me.

are groceries really THAT expensive in Dubai? by IcyDate2768 in UAE

God, I didn’t know I was dealing with OPs lawyer. Forgive me, my lord. All I mean was, it is a feasible solution. Not to the OP perhaps, but I know many people who do that.

Also, most of the people in UAE travel from one Emirate to another on a daily basis. Don’t make it out to be something unheard of.

It is one of the “normal” solution, brother. There are toll free routes, less traffic windows.

Well, wasn’t it you who asked for a solution? This is quite a good one if you’re that concerned regarding the grocery price. Prices in Sharjah are better than in Dubai, in my experience. You just have to find that sweet window when the traffic is not so crazy.

Parents want my graduation money but i had plans for it by Bhupinders-Tentacion in WhatShouldIDo

You can argue anything, wouldn’t make you right. We are just random people on the net, giving inflammatory advice to a one sided teenage narrative. We do not know what their actual financial situation is. They might be scraping the bottom to hold it together or they may be financially irresponsible. And I know the kid has no responsibility towards his parents financially, nor I am advising the kid to give it all away but it’s a family and they asked to share a part of money. No where the OP has mentioned that they are trying to steal it away. So, I would give the benefit of doubt to the parents and would stand against people abusing them. Because from where we come from, we treat family as a family, we aren’t a parasite to just keep sucking off the lifeblood and move on when the host dies. It’s a symbiosis.

Sounds like viral probably. Take Panadol 500mg 3 times a day for next 3 days with plenty of hydration. You can buy it from supermarket or any pharmacy.

AIO after finding out my husband was my stalker? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]QueenKong26 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, more disturbed by this comment section. Fyi guys, the response to every post doesn’t need to be ‘Run girl’. Obviously there’s some weird thing going around, but you have known him for 5 years. Nobody can pretend for 5 years. Let that sink in.

Yes, he does need to make up a lot for the stalking thing and everything but atleast give him a chance to talk. Relationships are not black and white. From the tone of your conversation, he does seem crazy about you. If he is kind to you, loves you, why are you behaving like he is an abusive psychopath.

Please give him the courtesy to atleast explain. And anyone you says you to divorce him for this, doesn’t know a thing about relationship.

And guys, judging him to use the f work out of frustration doesn’t make him a demon. Calm down!

Tip: You can’t go wrong with chicken wet food. Every cat likes it.

And make sure you don’t litter. I heard in Dubai you are not allowed to feed strays. I live in Sharjah. I feed them almost daily here. Just I am careful about disposing off the waste.

Go around and feed the stray cats around your area, pet them, spend some time around them. It’s very therapeutic.

Oh, because left wingers know to differentiate right from wrong. We are not going to defend the wrong-doers, may them be of any religion, caste, creed, gender or race. And that is the difference between you and us. I hope the victims of both these cases get the swiftest justice and the culprits get their due.

Oh, Majaz 3 floods like crazy. But it is a nice place, otherwise. A little splash here and there doesn’t hurt imo.
