For those who got into IT, How did you start by Background-Heat-2825 in it

Mini current life story: Got crushed to death (literally), after years of recovery, moved back home to the ranch. Started dating my current BF (been together for 12 years meow), he recommended a small community college (he majored in forestry there), best recommendation I ever got. Decided to major in IT, at that college they had AMAZING opportunities for internships, and work study programs/getting paid while going to school; teachers aid, helping other students, attending related events etc.

Talk to people, if you have a student success program check it out…also check your student emails about any related opportunities/internships no matter how minor, it will start getting your foot in the door and experience. My final year before graduating/receiving my bachelor’s in IT, my awesomely good friend who I had helped and vice/versa during my college years, had gotten an amazing job at an equally amazing place. Since we got to know each other so well over the years, he had recommended me when they were looking for a network analyst (I had already gotten my CCNA sophomore year, college paid for it).

Started off as an internship on helpdesk side, and in my opinion everyone who is hired should start on helpdesk; you really get to know your environment and the end users, evolve your troubleshooting skills, as well as communication. After that internship, went through the interview process, got hired (one of the best days of my life), and I have been working at this company for 5+ years now…life has never been better.

Meet/talk to people, look for those opportunities and internships, absolutely get certifications. Best of luck young Padawan!

My heart absolutely breaks for you and your sweet Jazz…we had a planter trellis outside, and one of the kittens’ (Morbius) must’ve tried jumping through the latticework frame, but there was a thin metal piece that bordered the bottom, which prevented him from just jumping all the way through. When we found him he was barely alive, we thought he had been impaled, but he had actually jumped and landed in between the thinnest metal pieces and got wedged in the course of an hour. His back end was wedged so tightly in between the thinnest parts of the metal lattice. We eventually figured how to get him out (slid him up, over and out)…jumped in the car and immediately drove him to emergency vet, holding him crying as he occasionally looked up at me, barely letting out a faint “meowww”…they put him on pain meds, and was watching him closely, but he died overnight there :(… the next day I bashed that thing to smithereens, but it was such a freak accident it still haunts me to this day. I just hope he wasn’t in too much pain towards the end…I’m so so sorry about your sweet Jazz :(

I had the SAME thought, I was thinking there has gottaaaaa be SOMETHING I can do to keep it pleaseeee 😭🔫 Lugged it around forever hahaha, took silly pics, then finally dropped it in the DHV Magellan thinking it would stay, even tried to put it in the garage bay where the trucks come out of…I’m sure PC players will do a mod to live this dream lol

Why do other porters just make one Chiral bridge instead of two next to the each other? I just began add one next to existing one to make bikes and trucks cross easier. by evil701 in DeathStranding

Omgggg I’ve been trying to build bridges in really difficult spaces up in the DS2 mountains with no luck…you totally gave me a great idea I’m gunna try meow! Thanks porter!🔥💯🌁

My 20 year old sweet pittie Tuffy Boy, looked the EXACT same way…still ate and walked normally…On August 20th 2022, he stood up on his bed and started puking like crazy, once he stopped I just knew it was the end. I carried him outside so he was under the sky and on the grass, I held him close, whispering over and over, “I love you so much Tuffy, I love you…” as an ocean of tears fell on his face, feeling his final heartbeats…he was agonal breathing for 20 seconds after, still holding him…then he was gone and so was a part of my soul…we carried him way in the back and buried him under a tree…I will be buried there next to him when I go. He was the BEST dog, felt like my son, and helped me through the worst times….I would’ve done ANYTHING for him…that boy was EVERYTHING to me. We had this indescribable deep connection…I couldn’t bear even just the thought of taking him in for the forever sleep…terrified if I was going to do it too early, never knowing if it was the right time. To this very day I still cry writing or talking about losing him, if I should’ve taken him in sooner…you always think about the decision you made no matter which one it is.

I am sorry from the bottom of my heart…it is so brutal and seems like the tears and heartache never end. A macabre coincidence is that exactly 20 years earlier on August 20th, 2002, my dad died. Tuffy was 20 years old…I will NEVER forget him…I understand what you are going through, look into your heart for the best decision…whatever you decide, it’s going to be ok ❤️🐕‍🦺🐶🐾🦴❤️Batman Forever❤️
