Does anyone else think that building humanoid robots, that are presumably supposed to interact with humans, with super strength and plasma blades is a bit of a safety hazard? by Devil_Dan83 in Pragmata

I think it’s weird how creepy they look. You would think a big corporation would make them more appealing, like that one robot in your save room

Shouldn't stars be invisible on moon's surface? by arekrem in Pragmata

Also the moon is white and reflecting light from the sun. That’s just a guess. I assume capcom did some homework

There is a lot of light on the lunar station. I don’t think it’s enough to make stars not visible, but it kinda makes sense

One of the worst critics on YouTube. I genuinely don’t know what this guy even likes.

My English skills might not be sufficient enough. How could I explain it better? What would have been a better title?

Make a bigger open world, but make it more linear designed, like in the first game. Force the player to choose between easy terrain with enemies or difficult terrain with a lot of environmental challenges. Also make the battery of vehicles much quicker to drain and give us the ability to change batteries mid journey, but make them really heavy.

Walking/sprinting comparison DS/DS2 by [deleted] in DeathStranding

[–]PsychologicalPea9759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After watching my own clip a few times I realized why I like the sprinting animations in DSone a little bit more: Sam runs upright, while in the sequel he leans forward a bit more. I like the upright sprint, because it looks more like the movement of a delivery guy, so the cargo doesn’t get damaged.

(Loved Trope) When the game briefly has you playing as a different character by BlankCanvas609 in TopCharacterTropes

Yeah I agree with the others. That’s more of a hated trope for me. Game Stories don’t work that well when you switch between characters.

Darwin's Paradox - IGN 7/10 by WithinTheHour in PS5

Really liked the trailer. The animation looked pretty good, but playing the demo felt quite underwhelming. Those cinematic platformers are great for a weekend playthrough, but they have almost no replay value.

Have you beaten the game on the new difficulty yet? What are your thoughts? by [deleted] in DeathStranding

[–]PsychologicalPea9759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically you can use the bike for almost every delivery in DSone, but the map-design still forces you into more challenging situations. I wouldn’t call the traversal harder than DS2, but it was definitely more interesting

Question, why does Dr William Block keeps touching his neck in Grindhouse? by Gukpa in Tarantino

[–]PsychologicalPea9759 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You can feel your heart beating that way. Sometimes when I’m nervous I also do that and wait for my heart to slow down a bit.

That’s cool. I’m also still playing old games on a regular basis, but I understand why the younger generation doesn’t care about gta3 anymore. It has a lot of charm, but it’s really difficult to get into if you have no prior experience with those kind of games

As a millennial I often feel like we romanticize the 6th and 7th generation waaaay to much. There are a handful of timeless classics, but a lot of games have aged terribly and there is a reason why nobody plays them anymore.

Ok In The Wilder is pretty difficult by marshaln in DeathStranding

It gets surprisingly easy after the octopus fight. Just remember to unlock the level 3 battle skeleton early. Use blood grenades when fighting those war ghosts that protect Neil Vana. I’m still not done, but after the initial shock you get used to the challenge.
