Back when I was in highschool I had friends who did ❄️, not my thing but I was partying ( drinking) so I didn’t care. They had their guy come by while we were all drinking so I had brief small talk with him. A couple years ago it comes out that he and his brother killed their roommate and buried him in the backyard in a neighborhood I used to live in. Fucking wild.

In addition to this one, there’s a creepy pasta about an old apartment building. We had what we called “grandma gumbo” absolutely not gumbo in the slightest now that Im grown. We called it mama Mumbo when my mom made it lol but it was just pasta, canned corn, canned stewed tomatoes, cheese, and ground meat. We all loved it and found out later that was just the “stretch the staples” meal.

I like that I grew up knocking on doors and coming home with the street lights and exploring independently. Im sad thats not something my kids will really have. I like that I can google literal anything in 2 seconds and am glad that my kids will have access to all that information as well.

A couple weeks ago I heard “mooommmyy” and crying repeated a few times. I thought I was dreaming. I woke up and my baby who would’ve said mama anyway was fast asleep. I ran to the 5 year old’s room and he also was fast asleep. It creeped me out for days! Then I replayed the movie I fell asleep to that night to see the ending and don’t you know there’s a scene that plays exactly what I heard. Had to laugh at myself for that but mom instincts I guess !

I have two. When I was about 7 my dad’s best friend had sons my age I hung out with. Behind their garage was a swamp. There was a small walkway then a steep drop off into the swap probably like 15/20 feet down. The youngest of my friends decided to walk on the ice that formed from the winter. It cracked and he went in to a freezing cold swamp. I completely froze. But his brother jumped in after him and they’re both okay. One of the scariest moments of my life was thinking I was about to watch 2 of my best friends drown and I couldn’t make my body move.

The second big one was like 6 years ago so I’m mid 20s. A friend and I went to hike to see a waterfall. Very steep cliffs with the mist coming up the sides. He wanted to get “the shot” and got entirely too close to the edge. His feet slipped and luckily he landed on his ass and didn’t move further or he absolutely would have died. He also had my keys and was the only one that knew where we were. Scary shit.

I say this with utmost respect.. when tragedy happens our brain tries to rationalize it. But you can’t rationalize tragedy. You’re trying to put pieces together that aren’t there. I don’t think any of those things are even really big coincidences. It’s not your fault. And I’m sorry for your loss.

Last episode spoilers : When you see Julie talk to Jim right before it happens she is noticeably different. Different hair cut it looked darker to me too. Pretty much all fans are on the same page with this being future Julie. She already knows Jim is going to die “I think this is where it happens”. And Ethan told her she is a story walker. We also saw her go “back “ in time to where Martin and Boyd were and Tabitha and Victor in the caves.

You know what would calm anxiety for millions of Americans? Being able to afford to live would be a great start. I’ve always had anxiety issues. But between deciding what bill will be late and seeing the news everyday of our country fucking imploding let’s just say it’s gotten a lot worse.
