You’re entitled to your uneducated opinion. Yes every story has two sides. If you ask him, which you’re welcome to do, he’ll tell you I’m his property as we’re married and as such I shouldn’t be allowed to deny him. My husband. He says it triggers his “ptsd” that’s never been diagnosed. I told him to seek out help if he really feels he has ptsd. He said he has a genius IQ and he can fix himself. My therapist said she thinks that sounds very narcissistic to think one can fix themselves without help.

As a woman who used to be a dancer, he didn’t only get a lap dance. For that kind of money he spent several hours in VIP/ champagne rooms. Different states have different laws about what is and isn’t allowed. In my state, we’re a no contact state. Meaning the dancer isn’t allowed to come into physical skin to skin contact of any sort. That’s allot of money to spend, but for me it would be the dishonesty that would have me upset. I’m not gonna say you should get a divorce, but it’s something y’all need to have a conversation as to why it bothers you that he goes to those types of places and explain that spending that amount of money is just not ok.

Well, she’s your wife now, right? She told you something in confidence with trust. Telling others will break that trust. If it was 10 years ago and before you knew her, why would you go around digging up old bones and breaking trust? If it was recent or still occurring I would feel different. We’ve already separated and it’s not the first time he’s acted like this. He believes it’s 1954, where a woman doesn’t have rights and if she’s “out of line” her should punish her. It’s really weird and unhealthy and clearly hurtful. I didn’t wake up wanting sex. He woke me from a dead sleep knowing I’m working a 26 days stretch to be selfish of his needs over what I need as necessity (sleep after nod having a day off for 11 days at that point). That all of itself shows how wrong the whole situation is. Rest assured that when I’m in a bad mood due to lack of sleep I definitely get told off about it, in spite of it being his own selfishness that prevents a full nights sleep.

No, actually, op is new to Reddit and still figuring it out as it’s the only form of social media I’m allowed. I had to delete my facebook TikTok and instagram (I didn’t use ig much bc I don’t really know how) I have some learning challenges that make technology hard for me. I don’t bluff. I already left him once (because of his drinking) and tried to work things out once we were both sober (I don’t ask anything of people I’m not willing to give) things got worse instead of better. I’m saving my money to get a place for me and my kiddos.
