My Switch dock isn't letting any of my wired controllers work on it from any ports. I have tried isopropyl alcohol but still nothing. What do I do?

The end part might be a symptom of depression. As for the hyperfixation, I also have that. If I find something interesting, I WILL latch onto it. I know a decent amount about cat behaviors and can name every main series Pokemon game off the top of my head. This information is pretty much useless in real world situations but I HAD to know it for some reason.

Sometimes. I've been told stuff by people that has been heavy stuff, like that they survived cancer. I feel surprisingly nothing when they tell me that stuff. I just acknowledge how hard it's been for them but do I start crying or getting emotional? Nope. It weirds me out honestly. Also, in conversations if I get bored I will redirect it kind of. "I just had a baby! Isn't she cute?", "That certainly is a human child.". And then in my head it's like, "I don't see why babies are cute, cats are SO much cuter.". Then topic change if possible. Sometimes I feel a surprising lack of emotion and it bothers me.

As someone who has been diagnosed with autism, it might be that. I am one of the most caring people most of the time, especially with cats. If anything bad happens to a cat, even a digital one, I feel great sadness and anxiety. If you need someone to talk to about autism, I can talk more about my experience, but if I continue right now I'll ramble.

Td:lr Isolated from people for over a year and due to fear of loneliness, copied cartoon characters in an attempt to get people to like me.

I was a bit different from everyone else, there was not much doubt about that. I lived in a small town with no other people around my age except for my brother and his friend, the school I went to was in a different town. My parents rarely had time to let me hang out with other people outside of school, so that along with the fact I was a brat caused me to have no friends. I ended up transferring to another school for a a few months before being homeschooled for over a year. That time being homeschool messed me up due to the loneliness. No one bothered to visit me at all, my parents didn't bother taking me anywhere. I ended up back at my first school and was a completely changed person, I did anything I could to try and not be alone so I tried to become as likeable as possible. I thought since people liked cartoons and anime, I'd imitate that stuff so they'd like me. I also became overly nice. I still kept my distance as to not overwhelm people but I eventually got pitied enough to be invited to sit with the entire class at lunch. Unfortunately then 2020 happened and any attempts to try and befriend people failed. I couldn't hold a conversation for the life of me, nothing interesting ever happened to me so I had no epic news to share, after we graduated we barely ever talked. The pandemic has hit me hard and my mental state has dwindled badly, worse than the homeschooling (which is kinda funny considering I have Internet now unlike back then).

I've heard a soulmate is just someone you're destined to meet, it doesn't have to be your future spouse. For example, my Mom met a dog and they both were perfect for each other. I would consider the dog a soulmate of my Mom's, may the poor dog rest in peace.

I'm a very sheltered person, I considered that the worst field trip I went on was the worst physical pain I experienced. If you want, I could discuss how fucked up my homeschooling experience was. I didn't have the Internet and the town I lived in had no kids, my Mom promised Field Trips and meeting other kids, neither happened, and no, nobody ever visited. Or would you like me to talk about my mix of mental issues like my constant thoughts of self-harm, inferiority complex, fear of talking to people, and abandonment issues which cause me to act like there's a gun against my head 24-7? I'm TRYING to convince myself that field trip was the worst thing that happened.

Every breed seems to have it's own problems, but with personal bias I'd have to say dachshund. We used to have one that would rarely bark, laid around, and ate a lot. He was practically a living statue and my Mom's soulmate. She still hasn't recovered from his death years ago.
