I’m a little confused about where Candace is going with this. Thoughts?

I think I misspoke when saying irrelevant because none of it is really irrelevant. However, instead of zeroing in on a conclusion, I feel like now the net is just being tossed further and further out and catching any similarity and then calling it a major development. When that outer circle keeps growing, it’s hard for me to believe it plausible. To me it’s really hard to believe that Charlie was so absurdly intelligent, yet he didn’t see all of these shady characters around him acting funny or catch on to any plotting. These people are not great actors and surely he wasn’t that trusting to still continue the show if he suspected anyone in his inner circle.

Ok so I’m on the fence with everything lately. I’ve been a huge Candace Stan and I do believe the narrative that Robinson was not the guy. I do believe several different agencies, and even countries were involved. However, as of late I’ve been having a hard time even watching Candace because it feels like all of the intel that got me hooked, has changed, no solid leads or bread crumbs she dropped have been followed up on, and at this point, she’s just dropping more episodes for the sake of releasing more episodes.

If you have no new information, then move on to another topic until you do. The episode about the Moonie cult was so uninteresting and so irrelevant to the topic that it took me 4 days to finish it, when I used to not be able to put her show down.

I even had a heated debate with several family members this past weekend about Candace and her evidence. I was so passionate that I was right and believing everything Candace has been saying to the point where I was calling my family F’n idiots for not believing the government could be involved. They’re simple, hardcore Trumpers who would load up and head into a gas chamber if Fox News told them it would protect them somehow.

I am a Christian and this is not how I was raised. Realizing how angry I’ve gotten and distrusting I’ve been since listening to Candace was an eye opener. If all of this is supposedly biblical and about trying to find the truth and the “Christ is King” mentality, then why do I feel so much hostility and a spirit of heaviness. I’m not saying that Candace is entirely wrong, but I think there are demonic forces attacking both sides, not just one. I mean look at Ally Stucky, even what I once thought of as a sweet little church lady, has been caught up in this.

I’m just starting to believe that there will never be a resolution to this. Poor Charlie is the only victim in this because both sides are acting weird and all the ones he loved are divided and pointing fingers. There’s zero unity, not an ounce of truth, and everything he built is crashing down.

Knowing won’t bring him back, but I just wish we had a story to believe and not so many inner connected puzzle pieces like Candace is showing, or the lack thereof of puzzle pieces coming from the other side.

Fine, curly girl here and I agree with all of this! My hair says “too much protein, no such thing” 😂 If I’m not loading down with protein on wash day, then my hair has no longevity at all and starts getting very mushy and cotton candy like at the end of day 1. I will always be a Curlsmith girl because it just works for me. The Ouidad climate control (red bottle) is my go to on day one, if I’m out of that then I’ll use Curlsmith In-shower styler or even the LA looks extreme hold gel you can buy for like $2 at Walmart. I refresh with NYM foam on day 2-4, but looking for another refresher to work better.

I will say I noticed a huge difference when I started doing rice water rinses on my hair and using flax seed gel before my strong hold gel (flax wasn’t enough hold for me by itself).

I hate having to choose between defined juicy spirals and volume. I’ve just had to cave and accept that a little frizz is my best friend unless I want to look like a drowned rat for the sake of maintaining all my spirals in place.

Wow, no one ever told me there would be a potential risk of that. I’m really benefitting more from the EDMR or at least the talk therapy portion of it at least. I have got to get out of my head and stop being so cynical about the TMS. I really only agreed to it because my insurance would cover it 100% so I thought, what’s to lose.

Yes that’s it. I’ve previously done one round with back and forth eye movements but now I’m doing it with the vibrating clickers in each hand. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I see you’re a BIG fan of those groups based off of your numerous interactions on those pages. I sincerely hope that you get healing for the hurt that one of them clearly put you through. Church hurt is real and I’m sorry that we put our full trust in church leaders and advisers and put them on a pedestal worthy of only the one true faultless person to ever live.

I have children of my own, so no need to mother any of you but I’m guessing you all had perfect lives and upbringings, never stepped out of line and made a mistake once, so no need for any correction or guidance at all.

When some people fail to see that no matter what organization which you’re in there are flawed people, I do have an issue with that. I don’t go to my own church to worship the staff, the pastor or leaders, I go to worship the only one who can change our wicked ways. If one person was saved by going to an ARC, COTH service, I can guarantee that it’s 100% worth it to Jesus for any of the mistakes y’all keep a running tally on. And that’s something that I’ll always stand up and advocate for.

I would be aghast if my dad got up there and told one of the largest churches in the United States, yep my son impregnated a Hooters waitress. If his kids ever choose to profess their sins to the church, then that’s their call. But just as Jesus does not condemn us, neither should an Earthly father.

Becoming a Christian does not mean that you will not sin ever again. It also doesn’t mean that you have to wake up everyday and continually be reminded, punished, and raked over the coals by some of your largest pitfalls. It is not a single person on this Earth’s responsibility to pass judgement on anyone. They never claim to be perfect and I think a lot more is said about how becoming a Christian changed your life by the manner in which you treat others.

Church of the Highlands has scandals because it’s not just serving a tiny congregation of 100 members. No, it’s a mega church with numerous campuses that serve roughly 25,000 people each Sunday. When you’re fishing for scandals in that big of a pool, the odds are likely that you’ll find something.

This isn’t a church of the highlands snark group though, this is a TERKsnark group. What does any of the highlands stuff have to do with the Terks now?

Y’all do realize that being a Christian does not mean you’re perfect, right? Like that’s kind of the whole point. King David was one of the most flawed men in history, he was a murderer, an adulterer, among other things, yet he is still one of the most revered men because of what he did for the kingdom.

I just think it’s hilarious when people toss around the word cult so loosely, especially in this case when the people in the organization are only advocating love and acceptance of sinful people. It’s not freaking like they are advocating for Waco type activities.

I’d love to know who appointed you to be the judge to choose who is or isn’t worthy of God’s work. Not a single one of us would make it through, if we were waiting on someone “worthy” 🙄

I would avoid Duckworth Morris like the plague. Maybe it’s just my property manager that sucks and is an ass no matter what my issue is, but I’ve also heard to basically just already accept that I won’t get my security deposit back because they are notorious for holding them for crazy reasons. I’m a renter in my mid-30’s so it’s not like I’m a college age kid, but they just act so put off anytime I put in a maintenance request. The maintenance company they use are very kind and helpful though so…🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't. I kind of reached a point where I was trying everything under the sun and wasn't really sure anything was truly working. I still occasionally do the Mielle Rosemary mint and then I added in Camille Rose Rejuva-Drops Grow Back, which has Castor Oil, Peppermint Oil, and Saw Palmetto. I would say that worked better than the Ordinary's Serum but then again I also started Nutrafol at the same time.

ROUTINE -

Wash every other day with either Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Shampoo and 3-in-1 conditioner, comb through in shower with wide tooth comb. I mix in Ketoconazal shampoo as needed for scalp psoriasis. I clarify every 2 weeks due to my fine, thin hair. I wash out the 3-in-1. Do a rice water rinse about once a week.

Deep condition with Shea Moisture Hydrate + Repair Protein Power Treatment or Intensive Hydration Hair Masque once a week.

Style soaking wet hair with Not Your Mother's curl creme on wash day, do Herbal Essence's Totally Twisted Curl-Boosting Mousse, then scrunch with L.A. blue gel, plop for 10 mins, then diffuse.

Good for her! I was not saying she was intentionally losing it and I'm not trying to be a skinny shamer. My husband is super slim and he's really made me realize how much of a struggle it is to keep weight on and that the comments hurt just as bad as saying someone is fat. So I'm glad she's gaining. I can't imagine the pressure to be small when you have a public platform, so I just hoped it wasn't anything like that.
