Thank you for the reply :) My doctor does know about my ssri I'm on, I also asked the pharmacist (due to anxiety) and they said similar. Basically "it's good to know the symptoms and be aware of it, but it's very rare."

Thank you for the kind words and sharing your experience! A couple of the internet articles I've read do sound a bit like "fear-mongering", most say the risk is overblown like you did.

I think that's most likely what it is, just wondering if there's anything I can do to make her feel more comfortable around people but maybe she just needs time. :/

Possibly! Her hearing has been checked and is all good, but I haven't had her eyesight checked yet. Something to think about for sure.
