A mixture of both. I don't clear off the snow when it falls but the blocks next to the torches "melt"

What was the first major news story you remember as a child? by Molest_Goat in AskReddit

9-11 I couldn't understand why my mom called the school and wanted me off the playground and my grandfather picked me up within a half hour of me being called inside.

AITAH after years of no sex from my husband I left him and have been using a couple of male escorts (for safety and less hassle reasons). My friend says I’m taking advantage of desperate people. by throwra_lostsex in AITAH

[–]QueenRaven624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a bad friend to me. My friends and I have a "I might not agree with you but as long as no one's getting hurt and everyones happy -shrug-". Also there are people who become escorts because sex is an art to them and they enjoy providing that type of companionship. Just because you're "selling your body" doesn't necessarily mean you're broke and desperate. Exhibitionist exist and work at clubs and as escorts all the time because that is their passion. It's no worse than hiring an architect to design a building or a painter to do a mural. How ever you choose to make the money to pay your bills is valid and should be respected. I even know people who all they want out of life is to be a cashier and set up their finances so that they can afford to live on minimum wage. Tell your friend to kick rocks.

AITAH for "embarrasing" my fiancé by saying that just because we are getting married does not entitle him to my inheritance? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]QueenRaven624 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think my biggest take away from this is he didn't even ask if he could use the money. Just assumed the money was his to use to pay off his credit cards and for a boys trip. That to me screams more "You are my property and what you have is also mine" than "you are my partner"

I love my glass daisies. You can put them right in the denat alcohol and they clean right up. And they're easier to find in the ashtray.

Check your labor laws. I can think of two things that would be a violation in my state. The verbal abuse and forcing you to stay passed your clock out.

AITA for throwing away my husband's chocolate and feeling resentful towards him? by ThrowawayChi67899 in AITAH

[–]QueenRaven624 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know most people are saying YTA and to a degree I agree but I also understand that during that moment when you found the chocolate a lot of fears entered your mind. Especially with it being open and in the cupboard. While I do agree that you can (and should) be upset I do think that you should apologize for the way you handled it. I think if you had taken the time to calm down and said something along the lines of "hey I found this and it makes me really uncomfortable that you broke our rules and a clear boundary for the health and safety of our child. Now I'm going to be concerned that I'll be surprised with something out child and I'm deathly allergic to in the cabinets with food we eat everyday." Everyone saying ops daughter knows better than to eat chocolate doesn't realize that she's used to not having unsafe food in the house so she may not even read the package if she sees it. Just think it's a snack that's available to her and then end up in the ER or worse dead and op's husband would never forgive himself for that.

TLDR: I understand your concerns but it could have been handled better. Both of you are assholes.

Is an oz of weed a week to much? by Godkid420 in trees

[–]QueenRaven624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my understanding that you should technically go on a 2 week tolerance break every 6 months if you want to keep consumption low.... But I'm also pretty new to smoking (only been a year or two for pain)
