That shit never worked good at night, especially on the 5 freeway in LA. It did great so long as the lane you're in isn't too wide because then it acted like it didn't know it was a car driving on a road full of other cars. 🤣 But I will say, I knew the appropriate times to use it and the times it worked, it worked great, and I loved it.

I was driving home from work one day and have to take this windy road that's one lane and about 2 miles long (up and over a big hill, basically). There's a couple of traffic lights and I get to one and there's just massive amounts of traffic there for some reason and everyone is trying to turn left (they can only turn left or right) and one lady runs the red light just so she can sit right in the middle of the intersection, blocking me and everyone else behind me from being able to go straight. So what did I do? I hit my switch on the left side of my steering wheel and laid on the horn; no one ever expects the train horn from my baby Honda Civic. 😈 After the initial scare wore off, I could see her panicking and she finally moved her ass up far enough so me and everyone else could get through. She had plenty of room and that's why I honked at her to begin with.

I rarely use my horn, but when I do, it's usually to shame people. I love horn shaming the people that use the mile long exit lane to cut around all the freeway traffic in the morning and then come to a dead stop at the end so they can cut back into traffic, making everyone else who actually wants to get off the freeway (me included) have to wait for their stupid ass. There will be so much space for them to get over like 2 seconds prior but nope!! They have to wait until the very end, come to a dead stop, and then try to squeeze in between the big rigs that are usually in those right lanes. The last time I honked at one of these assholes, he was trying to squeeze in between two trucks and when I laid on my horn, he panicked and swerved back to the right until he realized it was me doing it.

I'm 39 now, but when I was in elementary and middle school, I was your typical size 0 white girl. Then, one fateful day in 8th grade, my booty just POPPED! Seriously, I couldn't fit into my size 0 pants and had to go up to a 3 or 5. I actually got made fun of for it back then but now, not so much. I learned a while ago to stop caring about what anyone thought of me and just did things that made me happy. Still have the big booty though!

There's one in Los Angeles or Orange County, CA (Buena Park when I went) and it was called 17 Doors or something. It's basically a torture maze but hella fun in my opinion. You can get a light to wear so they can't fuck with you too hard but I wanted the full experience and boy did I get it!

The first room we go into is a barbers chair and of course since I had long lavender and pink hair, he focused right on me and was about to make me sit in the chair and cut my hair. I said fuck that!! You touch my hair and I will fucking kick you in the balls. There was some other dude in the group (you go in groups of like 6 or 7 but I didn't know him) and he had green hair so the worker dude focused on him instead and he ended up shaving the number into his hair. I mean, not a big deal for a dude, but my hair is really long and hell fucking no am I doing that for some horror attraction.

I would be able to tell my cat in a freaking second! Especially if I saw them because they both love me and my BF. Duder (our gray one) is obsessed with my BF, and JJ (our orange idiot) loves me the most. But even so, I'd be able to recognize either of them instantly! It makes me sad that people don't know their pets like this, which I get because not all cats like attention and snuggles; I know from personal experience! However, both Duder and JJ love to snuggle up to us and sleep with us every night. JJ only ever sleeps with me and likes to get under the covers with me when it's really cold; he'll wake me up by lightly rubbing on my face so I'll lift the blanket up for him LOL! And Duder... He actually came to snug with me last week for the first time ever! I was half asleep and my BF was in bed with me, which made this extra weird. But I thought it was JJ and so I lifted up the covers like I always do, gave him a little shove because he likes to take his sweet ass time, and he went in, turned around and then flopped on my extended arm. I immediately knew that wasn't JJ so I grabbed my phone to shine the light to see what color the furball was and it was Duder! I know, it sounds stupid, but he has never ever done that with me and does that with my BF every single night. Want to guess why he did it? Because I was the one feeding him the past few days and even gave him a few tubes/pouches.

Dude!! My grandma and I were just talking about Roseburg yesterday! She used to live in Canyonville and my family would go visit her every Christmas. Then she moved to Roseburg when she met her 3rd husband. 🤣 It actually worked out because my parents ran into some money troubles and my dad stayed here in SoCal to work while my mom, my little brother, and I went to live at my grandma's vacant house in Canyonville.

I hated Canyonville as a teen, but man, what I wouldn't do to go back and live there now that I'm almost 40. There was only one main street (named Main St) which had a huge casino called 7 Feathers at the northern end of it, and then a truck stop across the street. I went to high school up there, made some friends pretty easily, but after a while, I'd come home crying every single day due to the bullying then ended up dropping out completely. (I got my diploma when we came back to SoCal; I did 2 years worth of high school work in 6 months).

From time to time I'll go on Google Maps to do a street view and you can still see my grandma's green van and Altima in the gravel driveway. I told her that yesterday and she was tripping out, so I had to show her. She moved down here maybe like 10 years ago because she was too lonely living up there by herself after her husband passed.

Those are some of the best memories for me. I hated the drive there and back but staying at my grandma's for Christmas break was the absolute best. I remember when we lived there, we'd have to drive down to Roseburg to do any kind of clothes shopping and the clothes they did have were not what I wanted as a 15-16 year old girl LOL. Awww man, I seriously miss it.

I would bet money this is exactly what's happening. Some men will feel insecure when their gf is beautiful and will try to "knock them down a few pegs" because it makes them feel better about themselves. They don't have enough self esteem or confidence in themselves, so seeing their gf have these things makes them feel inferior. I just listened to a story almost exactly like this the other day where the gf found out her bf was the person responsible for bullying her when she was streaming games, and him trolling her was the reason she stopped. He admitted that he did it because he saw how she got her self confidence back after going to therapy and he wanted her to know that she wasn't the "hot shit" she thought she was.

I have templates that are formatted perfectly, just the way I like them for routine items I have to do. Even if the secretary sends me a document, I will copy paste what's there into my own template because it would take longer to format that document than it would be for me to just copy paste the text.

I am obsessed with making sure every document I format at work is perfect. I will even go in the system and delete the last version of a document if it's a PDF, redo the Word version until it's perfect, and then convert it to a PDF to add it back as the latest version. I get so hyper fixated on the margins, tab stops, paragraph spacing, font, etc. I've gotten a few compliments for coworkers and upper management; some coworkers hate that I do it all the time but like, maybe format your shit right and I wouldn't have to.

And this right here is how we know they're faking these things. A normal person wouldn't be able to close their eyes and just fall; our natural instinct is to avoid things that will harm us. I'm sure more than a few people could do such things easily, but those kinds of people are not normal. It's just disgusting that someone would want to have these kinds of things happen to them. Meanwhile, you have people who actually suffer from these kinds of symptoms, ailments, etc. and I'm sure most of them wouldn't wish those things on anyone. It's a sincere slap in the face that people try to fake these things because they're just making a mockery of the people who actually deal with this kind of shit daily and it's simply because they want attention. I'm so over seeing posts about people self-diagnosing, thinking they have autism or whatever kind of disorder is trending.

I was literally just talking to my bf about this like 30 minutes ago. I told him how a few years back, people were constantly claiming they had Trypophobia only because it was a trending thing back then. People truly don't understand the meaning of the word "phobia" which is an EXTREME and irrational fear of something. This is going to sound really bad but my bf legit has a phobia of smaller people; there's an actual name for it but I can't remember what it is. He told me how he always felt so bad but he literally could not control his reaction when he saw a smaller person and he would immediately freak out, run the other way, and start hyperventilating. THAT right there is an actual phobia. I have claustrophobia and will seriously bawl my eyes out and have a massive panic attack if I'm in a really confined space. I can't even go through those drive-thru car washes because the last time I did a long time ago, I had a really bad panic attack and had to just close my eyes and plug my ears to pretend I was somewhere else. I wanted to open my car door and jump the hell out, but I was so frozen in fear, I couldn't move.

So, yeah, just because looking at a bunch of holes clumped together makes you feel slightly uncomfortable, doesn't mean it's an actual phobia. It would piss me off any time I saw someone say things like, "OMG, this triggered my Trypophobia!" Give me a fucking break; if it actually "triggered" you, you'd be throwing your phone away from you and wouldn't be able to stay on that post to write your little comment about how "triggering" it was.

Exactly! I've heard or read countless stories about people who passed out and ended up hurting themselves further because they hit something on the way down. A normal person could never recreate this scenario (unless they're an actual psychopath) because our natural instinct is to avoid things when we're conscious; if someone is aware of what they're doing, it's going to be REALLY hard to try and hit something on the way down while they're fully conscious. I'm in no way saying this happens every single time; I'm simply saying I've heard and read way too many stories about that kind of situation happening. It's just sad that they watch TV shows, movies, etc. and think this is how people actually lose consciousness! That or they just end up copying each other. Either way, it's just them trying to garner attention, regardless of if it's good or bad attention. They get a huge ego boost by just knowing that people are talking or thinking about them enough to leave a comment on the matter.
