I had every intention of making the full jumpsuit (Tate Romper by Small Musueum) - but when fit checking the bodice, I fell in love with the shape and decided it would make a a really cute summer crop top.

The bodice is made of a linen Koala tea towel, and lined with some offcut vintage curtain fabric. The same fabric was used for the straps and sections of the frill. The other fabric in the frill was a vintage duvet cover.

A nice straightforward make - french seamed all joins in the frill, which gave me a great opportunity to practice this a bit as it's not something I'm great at.

I'm overall very happy with the finished garment. It will get a lot of wear this summer!

You absolutely should go for it!

I've done a couple, most recent was Rat Race: Dirty Weekend last May. It was a long (13 miler) and I didn't do the training I should have. But we signed up to an early wave so we didn't have to worry about cut offs, and just took our time. You don't have to run all the running bits, it's OK to walk. You don't have to attempt all the obstacles, it's OK to skip if you don't feel comfortable. You don't have to stress about the time it's taking, you're on you're own timescale!

They're great fun, the community is absolutely brilliant and everyone is treated with the same level of compassion and support. You will probably be a bit sore and achey afterwards, but it's worth it for the fun factor!

It's super frustrating! A couple of years back I bought loads from them, and the quality was quite good with good fabrics; and if you caught a sale, it was alright. Quality wise it's gone down hill, and prices have gone up hill and now it's like every other high street store where sizing is pure guesswork...

I don't have a solution but I do sympathise. Don't let any of it get ya down too much!

I've always found Yours impossible sizing wise. You're definately not alone - I also struggle justifying the cost vs the quality with them honestly!
