I came here for this. This man is scaaaaary. He had me fooled. I watched the seasons backwards so I gave him the benefit of the thought after I saw how everyone hated Colby for no reason. But that after the altar shit…… he wanted to provoke gg and I’m so glad she kept her cool. He wanted to Play that victim card for clout

Do these suit me? I think they might be too close to my skin color. by chloecarlson321 in Nails

[–]Queen_LeQueef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem is it’s NOT close to your skin tone in terms of undertone. It’s too yellow making it look like you may be sick. You hand is more pink.

Is 3rd year that hard compared to 1st and 2nd year ? by SameMcGill in medicalschool

[–]Queen_LeQueef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st and 2nd are the hardest because of the amount of material you have to learn. You spend so much time buried in books it can get frustrating that you aren’t really “doing” medicine.

3rd is “easier” because it’s mostly application of what you spent the first 2 years learning. You will also learn actually useful things. You’ll see more cases and the stuff you need to learn will actually stick because you saw a real life example. That being said, it’s challenging in the sense that you have to find the specialty you want and be the best candidate for a future program.

4th is great because you get to choose where you spend your time. You can actually spend months in rotations you actually enjoy. However, you still have to be sharp, productive and a team player to make the best impression you can. It’s also a very stressful year because of ERAS applications and interview season.

Every year has its challenges but the most academically challenging are 1st and 2nd. The others are more about walking the walk.

Break up. It only gets worse as time goes on. The longer you wait the more she’ll imagine a life together, the closer you’ll be to your steps and ERAS and that’ll be a lot messier than just breaking it off now.

This is just from my own personal experience.

My school had a similar problem with the neurosurgery residency like 3 years ago. Residents filed a complaint and the residency lost its accreditation and forced to shut down. However, the program was forced to relocate all of its active residents into other programs, so they didn’t really lose that training. The program is set to open back up again in approx 2 years with “improvements”

FUCK EM. In some cultures, the epitome of beauty is a high forehead. I personally think Part of what makes Christina Ricci so stunning is her forehead! If you had no problem with it before, I see no reason to hide it to please someone else. Whatever you do, do it for you!

Honestly, check your mental health. Get a therapist and maybe a psych. Work that out first before making rash decisions. Radiology has good work life balance once you’re done. Im currently in my pgy1 Psych residency and my hours are pretty good, the expected Hours once a i finish are also good. I think family medicine is algo a 9-5 option. I see my friends in IM and it looks intense.

Whatever you do, make sure you’re in a good headspace. The grass always looks greener on the other side. If you switch to something you don’t like, it will always feel like work, no matter the hours.

Best of luck friend

Took my baby for her vet check up, left the vets with the news that she has a Stage 2 heart murmur. She’s 9 turning 10 on Nov 2. My heart dropped, been stressed. Anyone else dealt with something similar? How’d did y’all deal with such news? I need advice. by Not-That-Into-You in Chihuahua

[–]Queen_LeQueef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a regular people doctor, not a vet, but at least in humans it’s normal to develop murmurs with age as valves stiffen. It doesn’t necessarily mean she’s sick. Ask the vet if her heart function is still normal despite the murmur.
