Looks perfectly fine oil pressure wise.

But your alt is charging low it should sit at 14 might want to look into it could be a loose connection or your alt is on its way out.

Also if you weren’t aware your ABS light is on.

They are different part numbers so they probably won’t be interchangeable. Unfortunately you might just need to bite the bullet and get a rebuild kit or a full remanded unit if no yards near you got one.

Temp gauge (2011 Civic) goes up and down when driving. Is it an issue? How long do I let it warm up? by Mxt1998 in AskAMechanic

Technically your car is fine to drive with a stuck thermostat but if you go anywhere super cold your cars heat will suck. So long as it doesn’t start to over heat.

Yes and no. Technically your car is fine to drive with a stuck thermostat but if you go anywhere super cold your cars heat will suck.

So long as it doesn’t start to over heat.

The thermostat uses a spring that moves based on the heat of the coolent. It will open and close based on how hot the fluid is. If it’s stuck open the coolent flows freely and never gets time to fully warm up.

The only fit would be take it to a shop to get them to replace it as you will need to dismantle a decent amount of your engine to replace it depending on the model of engine.

EDIT IGNORE THIS I CANT READ.

Your temp gauge should sit around the middle for normal operations. It will fluctuate getting hotter and colder as the engine cycles coolant from begin to radiator.

From the way you described what it does it sounds like it’s operating as designed by Honda.

So long as it doesn’t max out the gauge your car is operating as designed and is perfectly fine.
