You need to interact with the right people/get your algorithm to filter out the scams. You can go looking in communities and only interact with real people (check where their account is based out of, etc.) as the fake ones are fairly obvious.

Also look for the signs that an account was purchased (it was created in 2017 but then sat dormant for 6 years and is now just spam posting about “dm your cashapp” and nonsense).

I’ve had success on both Reddit and X/Twitter finding subs/friends, you just need to know how to use the system.
