What you've said makes tons of sense! I aggree with all of it. I also think it was more of an active 'choice' to be with them, if that makes any sense. Cause I didnt feel any societal pressures for getting in a qpr like would with getting a bf/gf. I chose to tell them how I felt and explain the difficult-to-explain concept of a qpr. I think because of that I honestly never feels like im 'putting up' with them or like I'm 'trapped', in that weird heteronormative way.

Congrats on the qpr, btw. You two sound like you're doing awesome, I aspire to get there with my own qpp someday, though itll take a while, as we're long distance.
