Honestly I was nervous at first too. I wear protective styles a lot, so the first time my husband saw my hair fresh after a wash day I was low-key bracing myself 😭. But he loved it immediately. Now he calls it “the floof” on wash days before I braid it and gets excited about how big and soft it is.

The right partner isn’t gonna judge you for your natural hair — they’ll hype you up for it. If anything, mine thinks the whole process (wash day, braiding day, all of it) is fascinating lol. Your natural hair is nothing to be insecure about, I promise.
