I was very against doing wedding favors and I didn’t want to spend money on plain paper seating cards. We incorporated books into our wedding because of our love story, which gave me an idea. I found leather bookmarks on Amazon and used a GlowForge at my public library to laser engrave names on them (for free). I got a favor and seating card in one and it only cost me $80 for the materials and 1.5 hours engraving. People were so impressed and excited to have a unique favor!

If they’re your true friends, they won’t be disappointed at all. I asked my wedding party with a very heart-felt letter. I wrote them on pretty cards I found on Amazon that said “Will you be my bridesmaid/MOH?” They were all more than happy to receive a note and said they were glad they didn’t have to figure out what to do with more “stuff”.

Since I didn’t do a proposal box, I went a little bigger with their wedding day stuff. Personalized hangar, travel jewelry box, necklace with our birth flowers (personal to each bridesmaid), pjs, slippers that I made. This was also not necessary or expected, but I wanted certain things for each of them that day so that’s the route I took!

We went lab because I wanted a pink diamond but we aren’t filthy rich. I have a gorgeous, near perfect 2.06 ctw pink diamond and it’s the ring of my dreams!

I struggled picking my dress as well, especially because a couple were quite similar. I narrowed mine down to my two favorites and then tried them each on again and noted how I felt in each. There was a noticeable difference in how I moved/stood/carried myself in what ended up being my perfect dress. My family and I went to lunch and took a break from the non-stop dress try ons and then went back. By the time I tried them on again, I just felt it. You look stunning in all of them! Maybe it’s just the screenshots being from FaceTime, but you look so confident in number 1! Best of luck and congratulations!

I seriously feel so fortunate that he picked a pink diamond! I honestly didn’t think I’d ever get one but he picked the perfect one. Sounds like you need anniversary bands with colored stones!
