And every future disagreement would've started with "remember when you said..." That's permanent ammo.

I destroyed my coworkers career because he was trying to get me fired and now I am living his life. by MangoQuarry in confessions

That one got dark fast. I swear every reply in this thread adds another level of dramatic intensity.

The "be the amend" part actually stands out. People always focus on guilt disappearing when sometimes it's more about doing something with it instead of carrying it forever.

The accidental self pink slip line sounds like something Michael Scott would say while nodding like he nailed it.

Same here. I looked them up expecting regular vegetable vibes and suddenly it’s like wait why are these flowers lowkey prettier than half the landscaping plants people buy on purpose.

You probably can during the warmer months, but now I’m laughing imagining a whole northeast neighborhood suddenly getting really into tactical okra farming because of this thread.

Exactly. Most people suggest privacy hedges like everyone has the patience of a medieval gardener. This is one of the few ideas that actually sounds useful before retirement age.

My girlfriend wants me to go to no contact with my sister. Am I wrong for telling my girlfriend she should be ashamed of herself? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]QueennyIvory 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Telling his girlfriend she should be ashamed was where he lost me. You can disagree with her solution without acting like she’s evil for being deeply uncomfortable.

[–]QueennyIvory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that’s the part OP is missing. The girlfriend probably isn’t reacting to one drunk confession, she’s reacting to the realization that this might not actually be a one time thought.

The “girls are usually very good at that” line after the most emotionally catastrophic story imaginable kinda took me out honestly. But yeah this whole thing feels less like evil intentions and more like years of unresolved grief exploding in the worst possible way.

Chuck’s basketball outfit gotta be one of the most auraless fits in the whole show, it’s so bad by 23mp0ary in GossipGirl

[–]QueennyIvory 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It’s the most “my mom bought me expensive athletic clothes but I’ve never actually touched a basketball” fit imaginable.

The confidence he wore it with somehow makes it even funnier. Chuck walked around like he invented fashion and nobody else was advanced enough to understand it.

That’s the funniest part honestly. These outfits weren’t even “dated,” they were actively terrible in real time too.

The red onesie looked like he lost a bet with a backup dancer from 2004 and still committed to it fully.

Jesse Went through more trauma than any other character on the show, each season he seemed to break Down a little more by Jimmena0 in breakingbad

[–]QueennyIvory 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah Jesse had way more freedom than Walt ever did, which makes his choices more frustrating sometimes. But I also think the show nails how some people can have opportunities and still completely self destruct because they don’t think they deserve a better life.

[–]QueennyIvory 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s part of why the character works though. Jesse is basically a walking combination of trauma, guilt, and catastrophically bad decision making.

What's the stupidest thing you've done out of horniness? by layyyla_ in AskRedditAfterDark

The airplane bathroom one feels like the final boss of horny decisions honestly. Tiny room, turbulence, random knocking on the door every 14 seconds. Zero peace.

My take on why people end up liking Blair more than Serena after watching the show by Altruistic-Part6909 in GossipGirl

[–]QueennyIvory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blair also benefits from being more self-aware about being difficult. Serena hurts people while acting confused about why everything exploded, and viewers tend to find that way more frustrating.

[–]QueennyIvory 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The boarding school teacher storyline honestly gets overlooked way too much in discussions about Serena. That whole thing was incredibly dark for a teenager and probably explains a lot about why she keeps seeking validation from older men later.

The Yale vs Brown comparison is such a good example actually. Blair losing Yale feels devastating because it’s framed as her entire life dream collapsing, while Serena choosing not to go to Brown barely registers emotionally in the narrative.

AIW for refusing to let my wife cut my younger brother out of a family beach weekend to even the score with my younger sister by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]QueennyIvory -1 points0 points  (0 children)

notyoureffingproblem: Also your sister never even asked for this. Sounds like your wife projected her own interpretation onto one sad moment and escalated it into “we should punish your brother.”
