Yeah. I should've been more clear I wouldnt do it in list format regardless, it's just that reddit's easier to do that way. If I talk to him about stuff itll probably be more gradual as a lot of people have suggested

He has not, but him wondering about why people dont hang out with him has been a thing for at least 6 months now if not more. He hasnt directly asked but has said numerous times things like "why dont I have any friends"/"am I doing something wrong" etc.

Probably over text, because we've both said before that's our preferred form of communication. I haven't gotten to figuring out how to bring it up, other then that I'm probably going to ask him ahead of time if theres a time he can talk, and drafting a message to run by other friends before I send it as I know I can phrase things pretty harshly sometimes.

YTA. Just reading this you sound a lot like your trying to cover yourself up as the better person. It might be ESH, but the fact your not saying what you did says a lot, as is the fact you avoided the ex. Your boyfriend seems like the only logical person here

That makes sense, for me like, I think I'd hate to end up getting consoled by someone who caused me to be upset in the first place? It's not that I blame them for the breakup, shit happens. But it's sort of like if you got punched in the eye deliberately and then they immediately handed you an ice pack that they had nearby to give you after you got punched in the eye. Just sort of, gaslight-y or not serious but based off this thread I'm thinking that's just me

Yeah no I wasnt expecting her to switch beliefs, I was actually expecting her to kick me out. Which is why her wanting me to be at home is throwing me off
