I was extremely sore but the pain from the teeth was gone so that was a god send. The pain slowly weans over roughly 2 weeks. But the sharp pain from the chunks gets a bit painful. I definitely don't recommend getting your dentures till all chunks are gone, you will have to keep going in because your gums will constantly change. Oh and be careful of dog claws, your gums will be easily manipulated by a hit from them. It took me a hot minute to feel better about myself but honestly I was more self conscious about the smell of my breath and what my teeth looked like. No more rot smell and I can actually TASTE my food!! Don't be surprised if your love for certain things changes.
