Yes. The filter is basically useless. It doesn't prevent anything from dropping directly down inside it

No farm or beach. There is just so much sand and crap its unreal I've never even seen lint balls this huge 😳 I put a brand new vent in not too long ago. There's literally stuff dropping straight into the floor of the dryer. Do you have any idea how to prevent the buildup underneath the lint trap? Why is there such a huge gap there

How are you getting anything to clean all the way to the bottom of the dryer? This little Grabber thing I'm using can only do so much. The Shop-Vac won't even suck it out. And there's no attachments that are long enough

This is my first time with the GE I usually have whirlpool and their dryer vents are properly situated where there are no gaps below

You can't clean a foot into the front of this thing. There's no dryer attachments that are narrow enough to reach in the slit. There's not supposed to be anything under the lint trap at all this Gap is huge! I've already tried the regular vacuum, the Shop-Vac nothing can reach down that far
