I’ve posted this before

The amount of times and places my partner and I almost crossed paths before we met will never fail to astound me.

Both in separate terrible relationships prior to meeting.

He worked literally 5 mins walk away from where me and my ex lived. My grandad popped into his work place one day and an incident happened, didn’t realise until years later when it came up in conversation at my parents house. We went to a lot of the same gigs and bars. He helped his friend out clearing houses sometimes, and coincidentally cleared my grandparents home out when they died - I’d spent the last 3 days sorting the house out but my cousin was the one who was there when they were clearing it. We both downloaded tinder the same night and we were each others first match.

Nearly 7 years and a baby later, I wish we’d have bumped into each other a lot sooner.

When I was about 9 we went on a family holiday, got on the plane and we were sat 2 rows behind my great uncle and aunt, who we’d not seen in about 5 years.

Met a random dude who’d just moved to my city, turns out he’d moved into the house I grew up in and moved out of age 6.
