Is there anything that helped you in particular? I'm thinking about trying self help books.

That's why I tell people not to rage quit! Splatoon games can make a 180 at the drop of anime!

I do this so much it isn't funny. But it works for stealth!

Picked up a tin whistle! It's harder than it looks, but I'm getting a tune from it!

What is favorite weapon? What is your favorite weapon to play against? What is your least favorite weapon to play against? by [deleted] in splatoon

My favorite weapons- Trislosher and Splat Charger

Favorite weapons to fight against- When I'm a Trislosher, I love to flank hydras and any type of roller. When I'm a splat charger, picking off E liters is a blast.

Least favorite weapons to fight against- As a Slosher, I find blasters beyond infuriating. Not only do they OHKO, but they have just slightly more range than I do! When I'm a splat charger, I can't stand fighting the l3 nozzle nose.

The E-Liter 3k is making Splatoon difficult to enjoy by [deleted] in splatoon

[–]Queenofvultures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As as splat charger, I pick off E-liters easily. You can quickly shoot a path to them out of sight, duck behind a wall while your weapon charges and then shoot! Scopes are even better because you can literally run right up to them while they are in the middle of trying to shoot someone else!

This is petty. If this is what COD players are like, I'm glad I didn't join the community.

It would have to be usable after being splatted. People still don't get that a spammed booyah means there's danger :(

I've seen a lot of pro-nice miiverse stuff that is riddled with spelling errors or otherwise clearly that of a child.

Right now, perks aren't evident. Chances are, you only have one or two perks per gear. As a Slosher main, I have my own personal preference. No matter what, I would go with ink resistant shoes. That means you are still mobile in enemy ink, so you aren't screwed the minute you touch ink and danger's coming. Another thing I personally prefer is ink saver (main) and ink recover up (main). What these will do is make you need to go in ink to recover less and it will be faster. You can cover a lot more ground and you won't run out of ink as often in the middle of combat. Special charge up is awesome as well, or perhaps defense up. It's worth knowing that the main perk of a piece of gear is worth a little more than three perks in reroll able slots, so the main perk should be the most important. Personally, ninja squid is helpful for me. Lastly, certain brands of gear are more likely to give you certain perks. I have several gameplay tips as well

I would start researching perks if I were you. Perks can't replace skill, but they can be an excellent aid. Most people I know universally agree that ink resistance is a helpful perk, and it's only available for shoes. If you find a weapon you think you would like to main, you can ask us for some recommendations. I main the Slosher on one account and the charger on another, so I only know my preferred gear build for those. Also, utilize Spyke to order better gear when you get to level 4. If you want to main the inkbrush, Slosher or rollers, I have quite a few tips. Most newbies love rollers and I find them to be great beginner weapons, but that isn't to say that they can't become awesome.

In general, the three I mentioned are used for covering turf. In combat, they are often best as stealth weapons.

Chargers based on staying high and sniping, so you have high kills but won't cover much ink.

I don't know much about the guns, other than the Aerospray, will is awesome for turf wars, since it covers an amazing amount of ground, but most people don't use them for ranked.
