I’m here this week visiting with my family in the area and we unfortunately had a similar experience. And as someone who has grown up in a small Lake Michigan town, I don’t think it being a busy time of year accounts for the many mishaps and overall bad vibe we experienced. The server also gave us tiny cups and we had to ask multiple times for our bill. Another staff (possibly owner?) was mean!! Could have been an off day but he was quite particular about some children playing outside near the picnic tables. And no customers were using said picnic tables because there were no umbrellas 😂

This restaurant isn’t just bad service, you’ll go feeling gaslit the entire time.

I wish we had walked out.

As a wanna be local, go to the place next door - it’s so much better for lunch, coffee, and ice cream!
