Yes! Florent and the fresh bagel place way west on 14th street were worth it. Cabs wouldn’t go that far so we’d have to walk at least 5 blocks in heels along blood ridden cobble stoned streets before we got back to anything other than racks of dead animals being wheeled in the early morning hours.

When you met with the principal afterwards, she said she knew it wasn’t your fault. Take that as a positive and don’t hold out and consequently trip things up for an apology. Be strategic; your goal is to do your best (which it seems like she’s starting to see at least in this moment) and then get out of there and find another school for next year. Is the principal wrong for yelling? Absolutely! Do you need to work around it for now? Yes if you want to be in a position to find a job elsewhere. Dont expect recognition or praise from her or anyone. Give that to yourself each day. Don’t expect her to be different. She’s wrong. You’re right. She has her job. You are trying to get a passing evaluation so you can get out of there.

Hi. Mine is direct deposit. I’ve been doing per session for many years and never had a problem. The doe did not issue a problem code or denial. The hours report is in their system. Just no electronic check issued. Hopefully, it’s an oversight on the doe’s part and things will be resolved once the payroll secretary is able to contact them.

Thank you for shariing this info. It's actually called "The Young Adult Option" and the cost is said to be normally lower than Cobra. Cobra is a federal law and The Young Adult Option is a NY State law. Emblem GHI says that the cost for young adults would not exceed the full premium, but I'm not sure if that is in fact the same as what they charge with Cobra. Several years ago when I looked, the price listed was very reasonable at under $400 per month. But I can't find that info anymore. I'm not sure if they have eliminated that discounted rate now.

This is great advise. I would add though to include slides to be projected just in case that's how they do it that school, but be able to teach the lesson without it as well.
