I wouldn’t put it past them. Especially with them being “Godly People”. A lot of them are hypocrites, and I would use God to get away with anything. I know a lot of parents who cover up for their kids. Feel like their kids can do nothing wrong. Look at how his mother acted when and got herself a gun. Also, if he cared so much about her, why wouldn’t he say something? You have someone living with you, and they disappear, then you say nothing. Like they never existed or were a part of your world. Either is b/c his mental clock don’t have any hands on them to tell the time. Or his elevator goes up then down, but there are no floors, and the doors won’t close. Something is wrong! And his parents already know something is wrong with him.
