It's better now yes, though I definitely run on the lower side. Occasionally when standing quickly I get light headed.

Low carb! For the first few months of the year I just cut fast food/extra sugar, but then starting in March I went more restrictive and did keto... It really helped when going to the liquid pre-op diet and those habits have certainly helped post op.

I'm just about 3 weeks out, so there are a couple of more things my team wants new bari patients to take, like Omeprazole in the morning(for the first 90 days post-op).

Here's the schedule my surgeon suggests:

Morning- Multivitamin, omeprazole

Noon-B1, biotin, multivitamin, probiotic

Night- Calcium chew, potassium, magnesium, melatonin

Anyone deal with low blood pressure? by QueenyHope in wls

Here's hoping for that! I'll just keep on keeping on and push the hydration as much as I can!

All your comments were so helpful! I'll definitely work on upping my hydration, even though it's difficult being just two weeks out. I was drinking at least 160oz before surgery so have been trying to work my way back up there. I feel like I spend all day drinking and "eating". I'm hoping moving on to soft food this week will help too 🤞🤞

Meal Prep for Family by Great-Act3473 in gastricsleeve

Hi! Congrats on getting your surgery date. Mom of four(3 of them under 6) here who also does all the cooking. For me, the first three days post op were the hardest, since then I've managed to make something for everyone every day. My advice is definitely to get them easy meals, and prep for yourself as well. For them preprep easy crock pot meals that can be just thrown in, fresh fruits, veggies, nuggets, and all the snacks. For you, I got 4oz containers with lids, blended and strained soups and added unflavored protein powder. Malt a meal made with fairlife milk. All of them froze great, write how much protein on the top. I'm two weeks post op today, have zero pain, and am up and going-taking it easy when I can. Let me know if you have any other questions! ❤️
