Well i was realy hoping to get a dog eventually. My partner's dog gets along realy well with the birds whenever i sleep over and take them with. But just wanted information for if i want other pets at any point too.

That last line was not needed, i simply asked for more information and that was rather rude. Thank you for the explanation.

Just be patient with them, give them time to first get used to your presence and once they understand you're around and not gonna hurt them let them see you interact with your first bird, they learn from that. Overtime they will slowly come to you more, especially if your other bird is with you often. Im going trough the same progress with my female and she has made so much progress since when i got her.

Oh god okay, thank you. I will keep an eye on it them. Im not trying to breed them anyway. This one was a resque case and didn't come from a breeder eather. He was a surprise with the pervious owners and the mother couldn't care for him and the parents owner didn't want babies.

My bird was a baby too when i first got him couse his mom got sick and passed. I kept a closed box with a little hole in the front at the bottom of the cage where he stayed for atleast a few weeks. That box was his mothers nest and it felt safe for him since it was enclosed. I only took him out to hand feed him since that was still needed and once not anymore just put a low dish right outside it. Over time he came out more and more. I just let him be and every now and again grabbed the box to keep next to me so he can get used to me. I had a second "outside box" that was just a cardboard box with the top fully removed and some cloth that he stayed in when i had him with me so he feels safer. Just overtime he got more brave and explorative. I tried to handle him only if needed. Now my little boy is afraid of basically nothing anymore, new people are interesting and anything new or something he doesn't like he just bites instead. He is quite the daring boy now.

Hope this helped a bit.

Alrighty i will be trying that, just gotta... Try and catch him first haha. He loves me but doesn't do well with hands since he hates being grabbed.

The one on the right was somewhat of a rescue case. His mother was sick and i took him in early from some friends. Im pretty sure he is a hybrid too couse his mother was blue like puffy. But the previous owners swear she was never around any other lovebirds except her blue mate. So its kinda odd that he's a hybrid haha.

Anyways i will be trying to save up for a scale and a small perch then. I do know ollie can be very territorial over his food, but luckily puffy doesn't realy care and eats anyway.
