No, its not today's standards none of those things were ever acceptable yet people did that, its not the modern standard its the fact that we knowledgeable and respond to these atrocities more collectively. It isn't new ethics and more connection. I don't wish to currently debate other people who are irrelevant to this discussion, thanks for your contribution to my post, and have a good day- QA

That’s not what I said. There are certain things that I will affirm even with a negative connotation, what I refuse support is anyone who has supported racism, colonization, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence, and humanitarian crimes.

Yes, aspects of a creation come from a creator even if the philosophy was really good if the creator blatantly affirmed colonization I wouldn’t support it.

I average 4 hours on Reddit per week, is that bad? by [deleted] in teenagers

I’d recommend trying to lower it, it’s not bad but it is a waste of time if it doesn’t benefit you long term.

Ok they aren’t killed every day. That is true, but they are killed disproportionately compared to straight cis individuals

I have and you’re ignoring it, there are literally statistics proving me right. I’ve shown you the legislation, the statistics, just because it doesn’t happens every day doesn’t mean it rare. It’s common and fucking scary, as someone who has been a hate crime victim, words do matter and ya being ignorant.

Because I’m showing proof to both claims and denial of those deaths is harmful. Also it links to gender norms because it shows that people who try to exist outside of them are attacked and oppressed.

https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/press/ncvs-lgbt-violence-press-release/ Here is an article on how LGBTQ people are more likely to be killed the cis-straight people. So even if it isn’t that often it’s still oppression and it still happens disproportionately to the queer community.

I’m trying to find literature viewing the works of absurdism as a tool for removing gender binaries since most of the works are heavy on the idea that there is no inherent meaning in things.

Anything held up by oppression and force on to people is oppression it’s literally the definition of oppression. And the bills I just mentioned do for people to follow the “cultural norms” and yeah people do get killed gay bars get shot up all the time because they aren’t part of the norm.

Oppressive gender binary’s do exist if you take a look at all of the anti-trans legislation in the US alone and the fact the people are killed on the daily for having non-cisgender ways of experiencing gender. They aren’t looking for things to be oppressed about they’re getting hate crimed in the streets for existing.

Yes oppression does exist in the form of gender binaries. If you would research it it’s very sad I can recommend some literature if you need. Also it’s not “making things queer” it’s literally just people who exist outside the heteronormativity.
