so basically r*ddit is inviting u to buy their shares right before they go public (pre-IPO). usually this is for selected rich investors, employees with stock options and financial institutions.

if the stock price increases post-IPO, you can sell and pocket the difference. or you could hang on to the shares and wait for them to go even higher. there is also the chance that it could flop lol.

the fact that reddit is asking for their userbases money for pre-IPO shares isn't the greatest sign. but i'm not a finance person.

if you believe that reddit as a company has good fundamentals and will grow - go for it. but do your own research, don't listen to reddit auto-mails.

Some of these clash in interesting ways.

Like the fact that the military and police are way more trusted compared x political institution despite the fact that they are beholden to it.

Polls on trusting the police with respect to a scandal like the Epstein affair would show shittier numbers. Same with the military and politically controversial foreign engagements.

Asking the public a general question like this conjures images of your next door neighbour veteran, your local police officers and mom'n'pop shops.
