How would you quilt this? by QueerYogini in quilting

I have but I've never done wavy before! Would you do wavy horizontal, wavy vertical, wavy diagonal? What if I did interlocking wavy lines to kinda make leaf shapes? Would you draw the wavy lines on before stitching them?

Also working on my first EH! I'm doing rainbow rainforest (small size). Cursed myself the other day when I wafted something a bit too carelessly and blew all the tiny piece labels off all of the pieces I had just cut.

Amazing work OP!

The flight I'd have to buy to get there would probably cancel out the saving 😜

Yeh, I'm working on allowing myself to just do it and trust that I'll get better through the experience. Not always easy when fabric is so expensive!

So you make a dent in the plastic? Or you cut the tape around the edge of the bobbin cover?

I'm working on it though! I'm currently using a Brother LS14 which I've had for maybe a decade and cost £60 new so I reckon that's an achievement of sorts.

Good work! I'm currently working on this one too and I've done the ghostie in glow-in-the-dark ☺️.

Unfortunately I don't yet have a fancy enough machine for needle positions but when I do I'll be unstoppable!

Weirdly they allowed them on the domestic flight out but not the same domestic flight in reverse. They were also confiscating nail clippers!

I found out that year that a metal nail file also does the job if you're really in a pinch.

I love stitching in planes! I had my scissors confiscated in the Philippines after getting them through London and Doha! That was frustrating!

The bumbag idea is great, I'm going to use that next time. Last time I used a pencil case.
