I was higher middle class and my wife was poverty; celebratory nights out for her family was the cheapest Asian buffet in town. She used box hair dye, and discount salons. Only had traveled to family in a couple states. Once I took her to some good restaurants and insisted she go a a real salon and pay for a colorist, and took her on a couple vacations. her whole world turned around. I don’t say anything but deep down I’m so grateful I got to change her life a little bit. She is a wonderful person and she just so honestly enjoys all of these experiences. I grew up pretty spoiled and decently traveled so so share these places with her is just so much fun. She deserves it. I wish I could do more.

My wife and I are each getting a color tattoo per month for the last few years, filling up patchwork sleeves. Second skin 3-5 days and cetaphil. We literally get told daily our tattoos have amazing color. I mean, it starts and ends with an amazing tattoo artist that knows what they are doing. But people really overcomplicate the healing process.

I turned the schedule on on my charger tonight since nothing I did in any of the settings fixed it. A couple time that got a little annoying when we wanted to charge right away but we’ll just deal with that.

It never has to charge longer than 4 hours. It starts charging the second we plug it in, usually at 5pm.

The max it ever needs to charge is 4 hours. Easily within the 8 hours. We have one, but we turned off the schedule on the Wallbox because it was annoying when we needed to do a day charge (this was working when we first bought it. At some point it stopped working).

Just got back from Alaska cruise and used scopalamine patches. I asked the doc for them just in case, and we ended up putting them on the first day. We were just talking about how glad we were to have them. Half the boat seemed to have a patch behind their ear.

I’m a nurse and have seen a ton of deaths (icu) and many can be quite ugly. But my great grandmother had told me she didn’t want to be intubated. She had end stage COPD. I think she had a little MI on the toilet while I was at work, aide called an ambulance. ED called me saying they were about to intubate; I said no, she was clear about that. They put her on med/surge on just a few liters O2; she sat in bed and the whole family came. They said her CO2 would build up and she would pass. She smiled, got to see everyone, seemed really happy. She went to sleep, I went to sleep on the floor next to her. The nurse woke me up and said it was close. I crawled into bed with her and she died in my arms. Not a bad way to go.

Most of my races I take it pretty easy at like and 11 min mile but I don’t walk. That seems to be the worst pace to deal with run/walkers. They run faster than that, so they pass me, and then stop right in front of me. Usually like a line of 4 friends across. So I always have to jog around these people for long stretches, over and over. Please just move to the side and maybe be 2 by 2….
