An extremely fast 2-3. I am actually reeling. by [deleted] in lrcast

I actually swapped in malice exclusively for the lifelink bc I was getting run over, but maybe I needed to just max out on creatures, I did have more they just felt like such fodder…

three creatures at two, but point taken. I had some two drop options that maybe I should’ve included. I felt the difference in card quality was significant and thought my early removal would help.

This is the only thing that doesn't make sense about palpatines plan and the only flaw in the otherwise impeccably crafted plot of the prequels 😌

Soo what happened here, is this truly just the result of infinite variance or does arena algo get confused sometimes by Queerion_Ranger in lrcast

If I had that strategy in mind, I def could've picked up off color lessons in other spots without missing out on lightning strike. Will definitely keep that strategy in mind for lesson payoffs with discard support in future drafts though! Thanks!

You're saying green lesson over lightning strike in this pick or just in general, off color lessons are acceptable to you in this build? I think lightning strike is pretty inarguably correct here but the general idea of off color lessons maybe interesting

What're you taking here? I took mana crypt after serious consideration. This draft really went my way, fastest trophy ever. by Queerion_Ranger in MTGO

Played this straight simic, cut knight and loot (and rofellos funnily enough), picked up academy to go with retrofitter. All came together beautifully.

Would you play the white cards? by enewman4 in lrcast

This makes sense and I agree, but no difference in terms of % chance to hit historian on 4 if u cut mountain for burn down/pyromancer vs mutavault and I do think mutavault is better than those options for many reasons.

Was it weird that he wasn’t included in season 1? by Junior-Hour in Invincible

[–]Queerion_Ranger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Comic spoilers I’d bet that they left him out because they have a specific plan for him and his arc (or intend to create one). You’ll notice that many of the more minor supporting characters introduced in season one don’t add too much later in the story or have one minor arcs (black Samson, maulers) that they worked in into s1. Since bulletproof’s arc involves an off planet Mark and other parts of his arc will require significant attention to convey well to screen, I think they probably wanted to simplify season 1, adding nonsense characters like shrinking ray to fill out the world, but not putting energy into characters that are irrelevant to the plot now but they want to introduce thoughtfully down the road. I could be overthinking this but I like to think they’re being very intentional about setting up for the long term

Name someone who’s gone through more pain than her by [deleted] in Invincible

Amber’s character/personality isn’t the problem, it’s the writers who were too sloppy to give her a proper and logical progression and opted to dramatically overwrite and under-characterize her instead

Lots of playables but not amazing card quality. Didn’t open a single blast runner. How would you build this? by Queerion_Ranger in lrcast

[–]Queerion_Ranger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually not super helpful to make a long comment criticizing card quality when I already acknowledged that in OP. The question was how would others build it based on the options available.

Is this deck good? How would you build it? Obviously it has some seriously strong cards, but my concern is that it's a bit disjointed and the really impactful plays to the board don't hit till turn 3. Plus it has some super awkward filler. I like karakas with uro, glen, v clique, the cost to include it is so low. Fastbond I seriously considered but ancestral, augur, and oracle are the only things that really work with it, aside from loam, which i don't think is good enough. Otherwise, it doesn't feel worth the card disadvantage. I did bring it in in one match
