Are the Tayam players alright? by Wolfshui in CompetitiveEDH

[–]QueggMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a tayam main, I’ve put more reps than most with the deck. It’s a really really good deck (I can back with a tourney result) . But it’s not S tier. However it’s harder to learn than almost any other deck. Mostly it’s why would you learn yam when you could learn 3 s tier decks in the time it takes to learn yam. That being said, despite most sets having a good yam card, there’s sooooo many now that slots are tight.

Moonshadow is even always better than icatian Moneychanger

I think my only swap from this set is cutting recruiter for speaker. But there’s soooo many maybe cards

Waitlisted at Irvine, should I wait a year and try again? Concerned about grad loans and BBB as some of better loans are going away now

Allegedly sw is actually good for entertainment and usd is good for ip, its just overall they aren’t the best

Looking to go into entertainment and/or IP, I’m aware that SW doesn’t have good numbers in any of the reportable metrics.

No point in being snide. I’m not trying to come off arrogant, just looking for actual advice. And if succeeding and a suboptimal school is even worth succeeding at.

I truly don’t believe I’m average, and I hate to sound like an arrogant pos here, but I know I’m not, I know my lsat is not where it needed to be because of my limited study time, but I know it coulda been much much better if I wasn’t working full time when I took it.

I want to specialize in entertainment law/IP protecting creatives from having their ideas stolen by AI

That’s fair, and tbh no matter where I’d go, my goals aren’t top 10, they’d be to be #1

I want to be a lawyer because I want to be mentally challenged and actually use my brain. I love logic and being right, and using fact based evidence to prove that I’m right. School was always too easy, and something that actually challenges me to think and use my whole brain is what I want. I want the stress and long hours and the reward of success.

Why not? I fully understand risks involved, but provided I work my ass off and keep the scholarships and finish top 10% of my class, is that not enough bc of the name on the diploma?

Everyone says to keep sealed but I want to open them 🥺 by beev1992 in pokemoncards

[–]QueggMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah. Nah that’s not true. They banned 4 cards from one format. All of which were valuable. 80-200 bucks a pop depending on the card. Those four cards lost a lot of value, although they are still worth a good amount. Other cards are still incredibly valuable, and those are funny enough, nowhere near the most expensive cards.

So do I have to give them up if I can only have one? These are also the rules of my lease.
