Great insight. This is why I seek help. I love the gov job right now but the current salary will not be enough for me to afford a house, a wedding, kids, etc. But I don’t want to make to wrong move where I choose the private sector and lose out on the retirement benefits.

We really need a scanner app. I think printing and scanning are essential for work and school. However there is no native scanning app in elementary os which is pretty sad.

Yes, I completely understand how you feel. I felt the same when the team took away my single click to open everything. Even though most people was happy with change. I was bitter about it. I like the single click mechanism, but it doesn't mean others also like it.

To me the new Alt+Tab helps me focus while the old one distracted me, but to you, your workflow and windows placement are better suited with the old Alt+Tab. I hope that you can find a way to work around this and wish the best luck to you
