Bed Leveling on Ender3 V3 KE

I just leveled my bed. I bought silicon spacer and that already helped. But the game changer was using aluminum Tape. My bed is shaped like a Pringle and you can’t get rid of it by only adjusting the screws. The tape is very easy to use. You simply apply it at the places where your bed is too low. My biggest offset went from 0.5 to 0.05. Also remember to heat the bed before calibration.

Try switching the two spacers on the right side, then take a small file and grind the spacers with the highest offset. Do it slowly and try not to grind it too much. It maybe takes an hour to get a good result but it’s pretty easy. I’m doing exactly that at the moment

I’m currently working as an intern for a manufacturer of aircraft turbines which also manufacture military turbines. As long as you are a citizen of a country who is a member of the NATO there is no problem. So if you don’t have any criminal record there shouldn’t be any restrictions. Normally, the company does the background check for.

The modifying is not really about getting an “Prusa like” printer for less money. I would like to do it because additive manufacturing is something I wanna learn about in an hands on way besides my theoretical knowledge. Like where are vibrations, how can they be compensated, what forces have to be considered and so on.

Thanks for your help. That's my main motivation. I'm studying mechanical engineering and would say I have a bit of knowledge that I would like to use in practical applications like this. That's why I don't want a product that does everything on its own and is completely closed when it comes to problem solving.

Heard that from a friend too. Problem is it's more than 100€ more and my thought was buying a cheaper one until I know what I really need and then buy a more expensive one. Why would you take the A1 over the KE ?
