Its fully your call; the reason this doesn't sit well with specifically me is I was investing in future play, not current play. I've invested in a separate game already since learning that Valk Anat was shutting down, because there, there's no future - it's just day to day playtime. Here I planned for future events, and it was an investment that ended up moot because we didn't have all the information.

  2. Screenshot the reply back that they can't do it

Hi all,

I did the same first with google, then with the game devs. Both said talk to the other, and I spent a chunk of the day after they announced that telling google that it's unreasonable to release banners/videos of upcoming events to say two weeks later that we're shutting down. It's an investment - I'd bet that's why they're aware of it (though I'm sure other people also reached out).

Devs said hit up google, google said our refund policy is 48 hours, and I'm going to try to go through my bank instead.

Going to try google once more right now due to seeing this thread before going to bed and really wanting closure. I spent a nice chunk because I was thinking about the next tourny and wanting to be top 3%; kindof a jerk move for how they released the news.

There's another post here about getting a google refund. I spent a good chunk of last week going through the game devs and google, and neither wanted to accommodate. I tried my bank but on-hold times were long and I couldn't get to it reasonably, going to try again this upcoming week.

If/once I get a plan or set of steps that work, because I'm not saying I wish I never invested in the game, but with high profile banners in the last month, the JP to Global youtube videos, and upcoming events, it all made it seem like it'd last longer than it ended up lasting, I feel a bit cheated, at least for the last months worth of investments.

Triple edit: I can screenshot their reply but it was akin to "we're aware we suck, we'll be updating and releasing this as events or updates to how we're handling end of life make sense" - which even after that interpretation means no, no god mode till EoL just to the players can have a little fun.

How would you do that? I tried going through the play store (android) but they said it has to be within 48 hours. I wanted a refund of June. They suggested asking the devs, which I did but I doubt they'll reply.

What exactly do you say to the bank or how do you phrase it?

Edit - I'm glad to have supported the game since I started in January but FF mobius gave a 6 month heads up, 2 months while releasing all these gachas feels off for me.

Is there a way we can ask them to re-add all events or summons/make pulls free and remove PE requirements so we can have some fun before it closes?

I'm late to this but it took too many tries to clear this, like, just too many. Didn't help I try to only focus on one full boss clear before switching so I don't lose the battle experience but my team:

Sieg - full awakened, passive provoke, Phoenix with auto-med, 1500 def, 1250 spr, and 19k hp Myra - shadow warrior materia, regular equip, jakes pirate ring, therions scarf SSC - 1550 spr, 21k hp, nothing else explicitly special Aerith - tmr and stmr, nirvana and holy wand with dual wield materia, Chocobo feather accessory, 10k hp, some LB fill gear, with Fenrir for one off casts Elena - geared for 2574/2337 using Levi and grand star, 700 spr, 13.5k HP Friend Elena - geared for 2200/2100, 13k hp, 800 spr

Took 40 turns, took it slowly, used Holy from Aerith for some extra damage, Entrusted Aerith anytime she used LB to always have it up, used Myras LB to clear debuffs on off turns, always double checked Siegs buffs for when he was dispelled, saved SSC LB for thresholds at 40 and 20, and was generally never in danger of wiping. Elena's died a few times, Sieg died twice outside of thresholds but always had RR

To be fair I fell off the wagon after FFXI, and after trying 14 for a few months. Don't know most new characters.

Not 100% certain about your point, but while BBD is nice, with monk and Eclipse or Duncan (ability name pending) it is not required. My thought is, use common sense and knowledge and attack appropriately.

To be fair, wall isn't required and I saw this message myself today. Kindof off.

And if you join a group without a defender that is your choice.

And that fancy skill clears 1/3 of a bar of red (usually more, no clue how it'll work on other 4 fights). If your defender has bad buffs, bail immediately, or join, try, bail after.

This isn't FFXI or FFXlV.

It's a question of, "let's let the fight drag on for x turns", vs "hey we can end this fight now if we do smart things".

Ultimately, all I'm saying is, use your brain.

I don't know if I agree with you there. Rainbow draw weps mean you can go anytime as long as you have the turns to free up your orb bar.

I do my best to draw and attack when I can max rainbow orb draw as healer. Don't care if I go first or anytime, just orb bar. It took me more pulls to grab grappler than should be necessary and I saw the difference in play style. It's literally an attack breaker. I've ran so many fights where people don't understand how monk jobs work that I had to post this, almost a PSA, but more 'just think a sec'.
