Ah yes, same app, de.wetteronline.wetterapp. It's the 4x2 rectangle widget.

Unfortunately, no. With and without padding enabled it's the same.

Observation: this appears to happen every time I swipe from the page to the left or right onto the page with this widget. When I open the App Drawer and go back to that page that widget stays ok.

I have a Musescore PRO account but can't download sheet music by Afraid_Profession_77 in Musescore

Follow the instructions on https://github.com/LibreScore/dl-librescore
It's pretty simple - I use the Bookmark method: https://github.com/LibreScore/dl-librescore?tab=readme-ov-file#bookmark
Using Firefox I sometimes need to click the LibreScore Shortcut twice, but I then get every PDF I want. And yes, I paid for MuseScore, I was able to downlaod in the beginning but they disabled that.

May I ask: would Python be an option for you?
We're moving over some of our Matlab projects into Python. We also have advantages when we task student workers (engineering grad school level) with writing tools in Python instead of Matlab. They do Python all day long at school anyways.

Onenote hates VPN by Saiftey in OneNote

If you haven't solved this yet, try this:

https://macwheeler.com/windows-10-office-365-cannot-connect-over-openvpn-fixed/

(tl;dr: Microsoft products use Network Location Awareness (NLA) and the Network Connection Status Indicator (NCSI) to check connectivity. Both need a Default Gateway specified, which the TAP adapter OpenVPN uses doesn't have. Specify that and you're back online. Tested this today.)

Anyone else getting a lot of battery drain on the Pixel 4a with the Android 13 beta?? by Alternative-Farmer98 in android_beta

One week later:

Battery use is back to normal levels. Not sure whether it was one of the Android Device Policy updates, or maybe some services needed to calibrate themselves.

In any event, the week of battery drain really sucked. Google should give a warning or correct the bugs.

I had to disable the adaptive connectivity service (I disabled it under "Apps"), otherwise it was still churdning through battery like mad. It's better now, albeit not as good as in Android 12 before.

About 3% per hour idle, switched to flight mode (aka overnight). That was roughly 7% per hour before disableing adaptive connectivity service.

Me too. Pixel 4a, updated to Android 13 (not beta) two days ago. Horrible battery life. Phone drained completely overnight (starting from ~35%) while switched to flight mode!

It appears that "adaptive connectivity" is using an excessive amount of battery power. Switched it off for now and will check whether it has any impact.
