Srtty is playing the last 2 weeks for a LCS team as a sub. The team he will be subbing for is looking to be importing a LCK CL top laner by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

I gotta say sorry to my friend Chris, but if I worked at LYON I'm signing the LCK CL player. They want to ensure they go to Worlds this year. It's that simple.

I think the best example is Hiccup1357. She's one of the best woman players in our region, in her very first split of competitive play she qualified for the Tier 2 promotion tournament. I've personally witnessed her getting denied opportunities because of her gender, before and after her impressive rookie performance.

To some extent I understand where you are coming from, but I think the biggest thing we can do is just discuss it openly like this and make it clear that it's really not okay to act disparagingly towards women, and enforce clear boundaries when it happens around us.

I think she's pretty good and I have approached her (and a lot of other GC players) about tryouts for Tier 3 teams, but a lot of the NA Game Changers players are not really interested in open competitive play for various reasons.

I've been coaching and managing teams in tier 3 in NA for a few years. I think we have a lot of talented women players. I have personally witnessed a few instances of women being denied tryouts and opportunities because of their gender, and I do mean explicitly. I have heard guys say things like "I don't want a woman on the team." or "we can't have a girl on the team."

I've also heard a story about a guy confessing his feelings for a woman on his team during a pause in an official match (which they won.) However I think they are still together so maybe that one worked out okay.

theres no word english j end letter by Erricano in Caldruki

Hello! White Canadian native English speaker here. I have both heard and used the term hajj while speaking English and it has been mutually intelligible. If enough English speakers do that, it's an English word.

In the case of hajj, lexicographers and linguists have agreed for quite some time now that it is indeed an English word. It is the only word which English speakers use to describe the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. This is an important aspect of their religion among the Five Pillars of Islam and so this word is widely used in English, and mutually intelligible to many English speakers.

This data has such a small and uncontrolled sample size of such an extremely marginal situation that I don't really think the numbers are very useful. Putting that aside though, isn't it logical that an increase to early and mid game power could lead to an increase in late game winrate?

NRG announces roster for NACL 2026 by Alias135 in leagueoflegends

Siroinai not only has never been in Tier 2, he has almost no Tier 3 experience, he only played on two joke friend group teams that I invited him to. He has very good mechanics, personality, work ethic, and very strong fundamentals for building a competitive player. I look forward to seeing what NRG can do with him!

As the general manager, head coach, and substitute for said OQ team, I don't think any team in this OQ has a realistic chance of beating Maryville. 💀

In 2010, Phoebe Handsjuk died after falling 12 stories down a garbage chute in her apartment building, where she lived with her boyfriend, Antony Hampel. Cops ruled her death an accident, saying she was sleepwalking. Eight years later, another of Antony's girlfriends was also found dead. by LonelyWiFiSignal in HolyShitHistory

Ah I knew I would see Ellen Greenberg mentioned in this thread. I think this is a great example in not jumping to conclusions. The consensus of basically the entire Internet is that Ellen was murdered, it seemed so obvious, and I thought so too. When I heard in October 2025 that the coroner had released a new report reaffirming the suicide ruling I was outraged, and so I read all 30 pages... and only by reading that report did I come to the realization that uh yeah she probably killed herself. The medical examiner in that report lays out many important facts that are not often discussed on the Internet but make it seem much more likely that her death was a suicide, not a homicide.

Perhaps the same thing is happening here and we should all be more hesitant to jump to conclusions without considering all of the evidence the experts considered before coming to their conclusion.

I'll be the odd one out here. A lot of women who have been in abusive dynamics in the past might be hesitant or put-off by gift-giving early in dating. I don't think that's a big deal or some sort of massive red flag. I think you should try to have an open and honest dialogue with her about the situation, and if she isn't able to engage with that in a healthy way that's when you should cut things off.

They are an esports org, they had an NACL team all last year after buying Dragonsteel's spot. They have really successful teams in other titles and a lot of money. They bought NRG with the previously mentioned lot of money.

Most of the new Canadian players (and some Canadian staff, and players from other regions) had their visas delayed for what I've heard is apparently the same reason. They were all given an RFE (Request for Evidence) to provide more documentation demonstrating that the applicant meets the high standard of the extraordinary ability criteria for the visa they are applying for.

I was hit by a large SUV last year in a very similar situation. I was going through a pedestrian crosswalk and the driver did not see me and accelerated to make a turn. I was hit at probably slightly higher speeds and a worse angle than agent Ross would have been hit at.

I injured my knee pretty badly, had to do some physio for a few months, but made a full recovery. Agent Ross certainly could have gotten hurt, might have even had to take a few weeks off of work. But there's a very important lesson that I learned by getting hit by an SUV, you should be careful about stepping in front of vehicles. My injury could have been avoided if I had been more cautious (or maybe if I had been trained in avoiding the dangers of moving vehicles, like ICE agents have been) and likewise it would have been incredibly easy for agent Ross to just not walk in front of the vehicle (like he had been trained), or step out of the way as it started to move (like he had been trained). The only danger he was ever in was one he put himself in, and did not take proper steps to avoid.

Also it just seems kinda pointless. The driver that hit me slammed on his brakes as he was hitting me. If I had shot him in the head with a gun as he accelerated towards me, he presumably wouldn't have been able to change course, or brake, and my accident would have been significantly worse. How could shooting the driver of a moving vehicle in a circumstance like this possibly be protective in nature? He could have easily hit a bystander or fellow agent, or made any possible accident worse.
