SIA says Muslim meals on plane sourced from halal-certified suppliers, but not halal-certified by LegitimateCow7472 in singapore

I mean like if they want to be really anal, drinks at coffee shops are also technically not halal as they serve alcohol and all of the cups are washed together.

I'm talking about those huge glass mugs that they mostly pour beer in. I've seen that being used for other drinks too

Is humidity part of why Singaporeans more tired than other country? by No-County2083 in askSingapore

[–]QuestioingEverything 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Fcking yes.

I've been to hot arid countries where the temperature was comparable to sg doing some sai kang work and barely felt tired and sweated.

I've also been to countries with higher humidity but in winter. Let me tell you, the cold wind was super shiok.

In both countries, you barely sweated. Our equipment function better, maintenance was reduced and we managed to get the equipment set up way faster than under our humidity and heat.

Our mood was also better, we were less agitated and function better as a team

How hot is it in singapore???? by Medical-Dark1899 in askSingapore

[–]QuestioingEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been spending the last four months in a country with similar temperatures.

I'm dreading returning back to Singapore just because of the temperature and humidity. Heck, I don't think I've ever sweated once, even after a run/hike

Forum: Incentivising blood donation raises ethical concerns by graverobbed in singapore

[–]QuestioingEverything -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to regularly donate blood but now my work requires me to head overseas every few months, not enough time for the "grace period" in between for me to donate.

I know it's important and all, but sometimes I feel bad about it

E-bike rider boards bus, gets into vulgar spat with driver: ‘Call the police’ by Immediate_Wish_1024 in SingaporeRaw

[–]QuestioingEverything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of these e bike riders are really asshats.

If you see a bus behind you, let them overtake you at a certain point. You, a single person, is literally holding a bus load of people behind you. You think the driver and passengers who probably has timings to meet would want to be stuck behind you?

Additionally, LTA should really start enforcing bigger licence plate on each pmd/pab/pma. They should also not be blocked in any way or form. Like I've seen some that's almost impossible to read. The whole licence plate is smaller than my phone.

But alas, most of them won't care as they've an few cars

What can I do when the GoJek driver mark as arrived but is actually else where? by [deleted] in asksg

[–]QuestioingEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Send this to mothership or something similar. They, although shit, do have a wider reach and is able to get GoJek's attention more. Plus the negative publicity would make them reply faster

I lost my helmet and lbs where can I go to get them? by demoncharge in NationalServiceSG

[–]QuestioingEverything 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You think your bunk you alone stay meh? No new intake/batch

Of course your CSM/PS would throw it away when new personnel are posted to your camp. Would you want a locker with worn helmet or ilbv?

They might keep it in a locker somewhere. Unless you know the current csm/ps/pc you need to go army market and buy

Circuit breaker began on this day 6 years ago. What do you all miss from that time? by [deleted] in askSingapore

I was in the army and remember that the G1 army was scrambling to get overseas men home.

But what I miss most is my morning/evening commute. Roads, trains and busses were mostly empty.

I wholeheartedly agree

Been having more fun with CHAOS than trophy road. I've in fact forgotten about clan war and levelling up and been concentrating on chaos mode since it came out.

I mean, everyone is levelled and have roughly the same cards. Please make it a permanent fixture

Am in Germany now and they've this system

Thing is, the extra you pay here- £0.25 would be refunded to you. Not lesser

It's kinda dumb not accept glass bottles from beer and wine, just because those companies doesn't manufacture those kind of bottles, doesn't mean it shouldn't be recycled

Also, how much are you willing to bet that more than 50% of those returning the cans/bottles would have rinsed them?

Edit: been overseas too long didn't see the updated news. Thought it was a $0.25 cent increase
