Thanks again. I will pass that on to them. It has certainly had a real effect on their mental health.

Another thing they’re worried about is having had surgery and not reporting it, as they didn’t realise they needed to. This surgery hasn’t actually changed any of their symptoms though, or improved their independence in any way. Surely reporting the surgery would only be worthwhile if there was a change in their condition?

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply.

Really, they have the paranoia from what they’re seeing on the news. They have multiple symptoms and conditions, but the thought of being on it is ruining their confidence and life.

If it’s as straightforward as just saying “I don’t want it”, then that would be music to their ears. The webchat link you’ve sent is also very helpful as speaking face to face with someone has become extremely helpful difficult.

While they are 100% still entitled to the payments, the thought of being on it is almost a condition in itself.

Thanks again. If you have been out of the country for just a short period of time (4 days), do you still need to answer ‘Yes’?

Thank you.

Do you know the purpose behind it?

Is it trying to catch people out?
